Great location, directly located at the Subway station _Gumpendorferstrasse_. However the store area is among the smaller Lidl's, and the high customer demand results in non-food items being frequently sold out in a matter of hours. As far as the Lidl regular assortment goes, everything is present copiously, qualitatively and thus not further reviewed. Additionally the location is fluctuated by a somewhat shady crowd, bestowing this particular store with the honors of providing a glance into big-city demography ever now and so often.

Has a wide variety of vegetables and frozen produce, meats and frozen fish. Cheap things of daily life. Themed foodstuffs every few days which you often can find discounted after a while. Non-food offers often not that good, but sometimes seriously good things in a lower price range.

Final update: And after 8 tears: final straw. Worst. Lidl. Outlet. Ever. ______________________________________________ What began with a solid 4-star rating when I moved to this part of town some years ago, this outlet of the LIDL chain of discount supermarkets, has regrettably been going downhill ever since. Examples: If you should need change for a trolley, be sure not ask the cashier, she will tell you this cannot be done, and should you point out that some of her colleagues have no issue with making change, she'll suggest that you're welcome to shop elsewhere. The LIDL app offering discounts to loyal customers had been tweaked to within an inch of it's life, and is little more than a data collection scheme. Contacting customer service will get you apologetic responses, including offers of small discounts – typically a 5 Euro voucher – which they only send via snail mail - presumably to secure your address – and though waiting for my voucher didn't keep me up nights, I couldn't help noticing that I never received it. Since there still are a few friendly and competent employees working there, I'll make this a 2-star rating – else it would be a 1-star.

Wide selection of groceries and household products. All branches are mostly arranged the same, so it's easy to find any goods quickly. Great discounts. Good point system which can be redeemed instantly. Only drawback is that some products only appear once and get never displayed again.

Super awesome supermarket in typical Viennese style. Drunks and homeless people luring on one side, the other side of the entrance seems a meeting point for immigrants with pyjamas fighting for cans of Red Bull. Woman, talking to herself at the checkout counter, trying to pay - just with wrinkled coupons. Nothing fancy to share about the Sortiment. I got a ready-made sandwich, because the lack of alternatives. ....which I threw away after the first bite - not edible at all. After that I felt a bit better, that I didn't get the panettone (in crushed up cardboards, sitting on the otherwise dirty floor) - and saved the money on that. 4 stars for that scary but funny experience!
