R	Riesengroot on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich kam nach einem 8 Stunden Marsch, davon 4 Stunden Regen und ohne Reservierung. Erstmal Danke für das Bett. Dann gab es auch noch frisch zubereitetes Essen: Suppe, Salat, Hauptgericht und Schokopudding; 5 Sterne auch dafür. Die Kleidung konnte separat getrocknet werden. Die Betten sind bequem und alles ist sauber, warme Dusche ist möglich. Insgesamt ist das ein absoluter Geheimtipp für (E5) Wanderer. Die Larcher Alm steht im absoluten Kontrast zu den großen Berghütten mit mehr als 100 Lagern. Das sollte man unbedingt auch auf einer großen Wanderung erleben. Die Besitzer der Alm sind super nett und kennen sich perfekt mit Wandern aus, alles ist familiär und da es sich um eine kleine Alm handelt lernt man nebenbei andere Wanderer kennen. Diese habe ich später immer wieder getroffen. PS: Es gibt natürlich auch ein modernes Bad (auf dem Foto ist das urige) I came after an 8 hour march including 4 hours of rain and no reservation. First of all, thanks for the bed. Then there was also freshly prepared food: soup, salad, main course and chocolate pudding; 5 stars for that too. The clothes could be dried separately. The beds are comfortable and everything is clean, a warm shower is possible. Overall, this is an absolute insider tip for (E5) hikers. The Larcher Alm stands in absolute contrast to the large mountain huts with more than 100 camps. You should definitely experience this on a long hike. The owners of the Alm are super nice and know their way around hiking, everything is familiar and since it is a small Alm you get to know other hikers along the way. I met them again and again later. PS: Of course there is also a modern bathroom (the photo is rustic)

A	Andreas Thiel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein einmaliges Erlebnis diese Alm. Ich war mit 5 anderen Freunden dort um zu nächtigen und wir bekamen eine Hütte nur für uns zum Schlafen. Das Abendessen war hervorragend und es wurde extra damit auf uns gewartet als wir nach einer ewig langen etappe zu spät zum Essen gekommen wären. Das Frühstück war beste Klasse weil es alles gab was den Magen gut gefüllt hat. Auf Nachfrage nach mehr Brot und Wurst haben wir direkt mehr bekommen. Draußen gab ein ein Klo Häuschen mit Blick auf die Berge was ein einmalig tolles Erlebnis war. Die Bedienung war extrem freundlich, motiviert und man hat gemerkt das sie ihre Arbeit mit Freude betreibt. Guter Empfang an der Alm. Als ich meine Geldbeutel nicht gefunden habe wurde mir direkt geholfen ihn zu suchen was ich sehr lobenswert finde da dies die Freundlichkeit zu Gästen widerspiegelt. Alles in einem eine hervorragende Alm mit ausgesprochen nettem Personal. A unique experience this Alm. I was there with 5 other friends to spend the night and we got a hut just for us to sleep. The dinner was excellent and we were waited for when we were late for dinner after an eternally long stage. The breakfast was great because there was everything that filled the stomach well. When we asked for more bread and sausage, we got more straight away. Outside there was a loo house with a view of the mountains which was a great experience. The service was extremely friendly, motivated and you could tell that she enjoys her work. Good reception at the Alm. When I couldn't find my wallet, I was immediately helped to look for it, which I find very praiseworthy as it reflects the friendliness towards guests. All in all, an excellent Alm with extremely nice staff.

The owner very rudely put down my request for translation to English and asked one of his guests to do it for him. I was sitting on the dinner table but the owner did not have the concern to make me feel welcome by speaking in English. He knows good English. He was reluctant to speak it. The tent is 45 euro to freeze overnight. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed as a guest. Language should be inclusive. And he must learn to make everyone included, especially for people like me who paid double already as my other friend could not come. Everybody is a hiker and you can be a good host.
j	judy nowak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is simply an amazing place to stay. First of all the area is breathtaking but mostly because the owners here are absolutely wonderful. Not only did they give us a wonderful accommodation (we were lucky cause we were alone that evening) but they just made you feel absolutely at home. The food was very traditional Austrian and you eat in a very cozy room beside the warm and inviting kitchen. We felt very welcome here and would recommend it highly!!
