A magical place in the middle of Styria with great views. The Hackl family is so welcoming and it feels good. Top place for a birthday party, food and wine of the highest quality. I can only recommend! Come again for my next celebration

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were recommended this place by some locals! It was a beautiful day during our visit to this winery, which sits on top of a valley overlooking rolling fields of grapes. We had a really nice time sitting outside and enjoying the view, eating platters of food and roasted chestnuts with a musician playing on the accordion in the background. If you're looking for a truly local Austrian experience, this winery should be on your to-do list!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend and I were traveling from Munich through Austria to Slovenia and we were looking for an authentic Austrian experience in the country side. We found the Historischer Schilcherbuschenschank Hackl to be ideal. From the meat spreads to the Hackl wine, we enjoyed everything they had to offer. They also have a fruit wine (Sturm) that is delicious, in addition to their Rose and White wines that we tried. It was a great experience and highly recommendable, with a chestnut roaster, live Austrian Harmonic music, a great and friendly staff. Also, we were there during late October and the weather was perfect. 5 Stars 100%.
