My wife and I own a wellness centre and day spa in Brantford Ontario Canada. Our location has a history with beer, and my wife wanted to incorporate this into her spa services. Moorhof was one of our inspirations when building our beer spa in Brantford. After a couple years of planning we finally made the trip to Austria to visit Landhotel Moorhof. We were not disappointed! The staff made us feel right at home in their Beautiful hotel. We enjoyed a full day in the wellness area, beer soaks and massage. After a wonderful day we indulged in their beer inspired menu. A four course dinner each paired with a different beer. AMAZING!
If you ever get the change to visit Moorhof, you will not be disappointed. Warm friendly people, great service all nestled in the hills of Austria!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are just booking our next trip to The horse show in Lamprechtshausen and I am happy to say that we will not be making the mistake of staying here again. The booking was made by our friend directly with the hotel. We ended up changing plans at the last minute so only one person with no dogs occupied the room for the two of the three nights however the hotel insisted on changing us not only for the extra person but additionally for the dogs who were not there for the entire weekend. They were also very rude about it.
Breakfast was terrible, room smelled like moldy cigarettes, water closet smelled like sewer and balconies are not structurally sound.
The photos are also more than a little misleading. I would not waste my money here ever again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in a very nice room with a balcony and view. Enjoyed listening to the various birds (cuckoo!) and being able to get work done at the same time. Breakfast was delicious with lunch meats, breads, fruits, and other various options. Dinner/lunch in the hotel were also delicious! Also nice saunas and pool. Will definitely stay here if visiting the area again.
