Meine Familie (2 Erw. + 2 Jugendliche) haben hier im Landhaus der Familie Gruber 3 Nächte verbracht, wobei die Benützung des sehr schönen und gepflegten Privatstrand direkt bei der Seepension inbegriffen ist. Sehr herzlicher Empfang, nette und immer freundliche Betreuung beim gut gefüllten Frühstücksbuffet (Kaffee, Kakao, Tee, Gebäck, Croissants, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade, Butter, Aufstriche, frisches Obst, Joghurt, Müsli ..... alles dabei was man sich wünscht). Wir haben relativ kurzfristig gebucht und waren froh noch eine Unterkunft am Millstättersee zu bekommen. Wenn man nicht besonders anspruchsvoll ist, nicht die modernste Einrichtung braucht und realtiv günstig in Seenähe wohnen möchte, ist man hier genau richtig. Die Zimmer im Landhaus sind eine preisgünstige Variante: Holzstiege und knarriger Boden, Dusche + Toiletten am Gang, gediegende Einrichtung - aber es ist alles sauber und gepflegt und sehr familär. Wir haben uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt! Ein Highlight war definitiv der Privatstrand direkt bei der Seepension (Liegen, Luftmatratzen, Standup-Paddles, Umkleiden uvm - alles gratis für die Hausgäste der beiden Häuser der Familie Gruber). Abends gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum Abendessen, Spazierengehen an der Seepromenade, Eisessen, Minigolfspielen und noch vieles mehr. Manchmal bietet auch die Familie Gruber einen Grillabend oder dergleichen für die Hausgäste an - leider hatten wir schon einen Tisch woanders reserviert, sodaß wir dieses Angebot ausschlagen mussten. Sehr empfehlenswert - Wir kommen gerne wieder!

My family (2 adults + 2 young people) stayed here in the Gruber family's country house for 3 nights, including the use of the very beautiful and well-tended private beach at the lake pension. Very warm welcome, nice and always friendly care at the well-stocked breakfast buffet (coffee, cocoa, tea, pastries, croissants, sausage, cheese, jam, butter, spreads, fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli ..... everything you need wishes). We booked at relatively short notice and were happy to get an accommodation on Lake Millstatt. If you are not particularly demanding, do not need the most modern facilities and want to live relatively cheap near the lake, you have come to the right place. The rooms in the country house are an inexpensive variant: wooden stairs and creaky floor, shower + toilets in the hallway, tasteful furnishings - but everything is clean and well-kept and very familiar. We really felt very comfortable! A highlight was definitely the private beach right by the Seepension (loungers, air mattresses, stand-up paddles, changing rooms and much more - all free for the guests of the two houses of the Gruber family). In the evening there are numerous options for dinner, strolling along the lake promenade, eating ice cream, playing mini golf and much more. Sometimes the Gruber family also offers a barbecue evening or the like for the house guests - unfortunately we had already reserved a table elsewhere, so we had to decline this offer. Highly recommended - we would love to come back!
