Die Information darüber dass sich der See für "Normalverbraucher" nicht zum Baden eignet (max. 14 Grad) wäre hilfreich gewesen. Darüber hinaus wäre es auch angebracht das Pensionshaus auf der Homepage etwas prominenter zu positionieren, dann wüsste man dass es etwas zurückgesetzt und seitlich zum See (kein/kaum Seeblick) steht. Ärgerlich war für uns jedenfalls, dass zur Zeit unseres Urlaubs auch eine großes Zusammentreffen von Familie/Freunden der Gastgeberin stattgefunden hat und diese Runde hat sich ausgesprochen dominant bis arrogant gegeben, was einer entspannten Atmosphäre nicht zuträglich gewesen ist. So man mit Hund reist ist wohl auch noch wichtig zu wissen, dass dort allerhand Kühe weiden (also jedenfalls von Juni bis September). Well, the lake and the location are of course wonderful. The information that the lake is not suitable for "normal users" for swimming (max. 14 degrees) would have been helpful. In addition, it would also be appropriate to position the pension house a little more prominently on the homepage, then you would know that it is a bit set back and to the side of the lake (no / hardly any lake view). In any case, it was annoying for us that at the time of our vacation there was also a big get-together of family / friends of the hostess and this group was decidedly dominant to arrogant, which was not conducive to a relaxed atmosphere. If you travel with your dog, it is also important to know that all kinds of cows graze there (at least from June to September).
P	Peter Stöckl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wann auch immer ich am Etrachsee verweile fühle ich mich pudelwohl !!! Das frühstücksbuffet ist eine Wucht und überhaupt die Bedienung ist hervorragend. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch im Landhaus Etrachsee. Whenever I stay at the Etrachsee I feel right at home! The breakfast buffet is amazing and the service is excellent. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Landhaus Etrachsee.
b	bettina eckl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wunderschöne Gegend zum wandern, sehr freundliche, familiäre Betreuung, schöner See und Sauna war auch toll. Frühstücksbuffet war genauso einwandfrei ? Hund war superglücklich dort. Kann dort überall frei laufen. Nur wo die Kühe natürlich nicht. Die sind aber auch alle sehr entspannt wenn man vorbeigeht ? top ausflugsziel! Beautiful area for hiking, very friendly, family support, beautiful lake and sauna was also great. Breakfast buffet was just as perfect ? dog was super happy there. Can run freely anywhere there. Except where the cows don't, of course. But they are all very relaxed when you walk by ? top destination!
U	Ursula Gartner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es war super es war so schön und ruhig. Perfekt für Wanderungen mit Hund. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholen können. Ohne Handy und Stress. Wer eine Auszeit braucht ist dort genau richtig. Mein Hund hat sich verliebt in eine Kuh ?? Hunde müssen an der Leine bleiben was verständlich ist weil ja uberral die Kühe mit den Kälber herumlaufen was sehr schön ist ❤️ es gibt ein Restaurant die Küche ist einfach top. It was great, it was so nice and quiet. Perfect for hikes with your dog. We were able to recover very well. Without a cell phone and stress. If you need a break, this is the place for you. My dog fell in love with a cow ?? Dogs have to stay on a leash which is understandable because the cows run around with the calves which is very nice ❤️ there is a restaurant, the kitchen is just great.

Sehr liebevoll, qualitativ hochwertig und reichhaltig (frische Eier, Obst, Gemüse etc.) Lediglich die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und die all die ausgestopften Tiere haben mir persönlich nicht gefallen. Aber die Zimmer sind top sauber und gut ausgestattet (Kühlschrank, Balkon mit Blick auf den Fluss und die Kuhwiese, Föhn, Handtücher etc.) Alles in Allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich. P.S. Hunde sind auch herzlich willkommen ?♥️ Great location right on the lake with our own jetty and free paddle boats. Breakfast was great! Very loving, high quality and plentiful (fresh eggs, fruit, vegetables, etc.) Only the rooms are a bit old and I personally didn't like all the stuffed animals. But the rooms are very clean and well equipped (fridge, balcony with a view of the river and the cow meadow, hairdryer, towels, etc.) All in all we enjoyed it very much and the hostess is very welcoming. P.S. Dogs are also very welcome ? ♥ ️

Fabulous scenery with the forest surrounding the lake (see) topped off by mountains all around. Family run business for decades. Kind friendly and not expensive at all. Myself and my Wife go there with our field spaniel, she goes for the walks. While I go for the fly fishing, fresh clean air and piece and quite! The fly fishing has something for all levels from first timers to professionals. The trout are relatively small as are the native Mountain Charr but the later will really give you a fight, you'll be surprised. But do tackle very light for the best sport!
