We sought accommodation near Viehhofen because of its strategic location. All the surrounding ski resorts can be visited by car in 10-30 minutes (Saalbach, Hinterglam, Leogang, Zell Am see, Kaprun Glacier), only a 45-minute journey to Fieberbrunn. Within walking distance (400-500m) there is a ski bus stop for the Saalbach + Hinterglam Valley. Back from the stop (from the Luftbichlweg's main street it is 70 meters high, so it really is up. Overall, we were very satisfied if something can be criticized, it's really just small things. The mattresses may be softer than what we are used to, the toilet is a little cramped without the heating and the bathroom. In the bedroom we slept very well even though it is below ground level, the living area is large and the kitchen has a view directly on the car, which is only 5 meters from the window. Certainly we recommend that only a 4x4 car or chains will be required if you do not drive in March.
