â â â â â Superb setting, really great staff (if a little costumed), so welcoming and accommodating when another half+ of the family turned up for supper unannounced. Those others had good enough hotels, but all agreed that we had (by chance) hit the jackpot.

â â â â â We spent an enjoyable 4 days in this quaint hotel situated in Oberau, Austria. The food is excellent and of a high standard. The breakfast buffet had an extensive range of food and the with the offer we had we were able to choose between 2 meals for the evening. The rooms were very clean, although I did find them a little outdated. But that did not take anything away from our stay. Service was excellent, and the hotel also offered excursions with their own staff running them. On really nicer touch was the Morning Post (Morgenpost) with useful information about the area, walks that could be taken, the menu for the evening plus some history about the family and the staff,
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.
