★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just stopped by for a drink on the Alpe Adria trail. It's a busy place, the perfect starting point for many hiking trails. A little bit to busy for me. I prefer the quieter huts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great little shack with awesome carinthian food. The perfect place to start and end a very nice hiking tour. Very much recommended for those who like "uriges essen", a typical Austrian atmosphere and great food and drinks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We literally climbed to this place with big Carado camper van. Not for faint hearted...As can be seen on the pictures, weather can change very fast, even at the end of August. Anyway, it is nice place atop of mountain, offering good food at reasonable price. Small yard with domestic animals, beautiful nature....Road up is steep and narrow. Small toll at the entrance of the access road.

Nice warm food and drinks available.
Parking and WC available.
Better start early if the day is too hot.
We drove up to this place. From here we walked up the hiking trails.
