★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything but mainstream. An exciting place if you want to dive into the subcultures from Punk to Hip Hop. Known for its atmosphere it's a great place to go for concerts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like live music Kapu is worth a visit. On the night I visited, it was Jazz, and a jam later on in the evening. The Jazz trio were amazing! Three young ladies playing: piano keyboard, double bass and saxophone. The free jam later included: rappers, other vocalists, drums, didgeridoo, bass guitar and piano keyboard and more. Kapu has a bohemian feel. Mixed clientele, students, young people and older. The atmosphere was friendly and fun. If I ever return to Linz, I would definitely visit Kapu again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is great place to meet people and hang out haveing a beer or dancing. There is a nice alternative atmosphere created partly by the place and partly by the parishioners who frequent it. Recomendable!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you need to find the very heart of Linz go here. Only if you have a good heart of course. Do you know that there is also an abandoned church, normally it’s closed but some times is not, if you know the trick.
