I loved it and for a short trip to Vienna, this should be included in your schedule. You could enjoy the big contrast while visiting the other typical museums of the city, plus this one.

Worth a visit! I really liked the chilled vibes there and the temporary exhibition was also super interesting. You will get to know interesting new artists and a unique building. The Hundertwasser collection was also pretty nice! As I have a yearly ticket now, I will definitely come back to see more of Susan Meiselas and co!

Great collection packed into a super ornate Victorian masterpiece of a museum. Nice Egyptian collection, so so Greek bronzes, the most Titians and Bruegels I’ve ever seen in one place. The cafe is exceptionally pretty and the food was very good. Service - not so much. Overall, museum was a pleasant surprise and I recommend it. Light rail stops close by.

Funniest looking museum I’ve ever seen. It was a must for me after being in the Hundertwasser Village. A bit small for the price, but pleasing to walk around. The first two floors are dedicated to Hundertwasser (no pics on the 1st floor) and the other showed another exposition.

When we bought the tickets the man at the counter behaved a bit strangely, and for some unknown reason apparently the tickets are cheaper if you buy them with cash instead of card? However, I could only pay with card, so we paid the regular price. Since I had a bagpack I had to put it into a locker, which you have to use a 1€ coin for, luckily I had a few coins with me. The museum isn't very big, but I especially found the upper floors really fascinating. We also visited the current exhibition, which was really cool! Overall I'd say that the most fascinating thing wasn't the exhibited art, but the whole building itself. It feels somewhat alive, even. I don't know if we will come back, but I'm glad I've finally visited this museum now.
