This is one of the few places where you can get the most famous Austrian dessert “Kaiserschmarren” according to the traditional recipe (which includes delicious raisins). They also feature some home-made Schnaps infusions. Those seem to be very specific to this region in Austria. They are worth a shot.

The view down on the valley is quite nice and the interior very cosy, clean with a mix of modern and traditional design. Staff was very friendly, service quick. Most options on the menu were local cuisine which I prefer but food quality was only mediocre unfortunately, tasted like premade ingredients for faster serving, which I could expect for a popular resort like this one with many people visiting.

It came with lots of fresh crunchy vegetables and a light Thai green curry sauce. I also got the gluhwein that came in a cute little ceramic jug with a matching cup. My friend ordered the schnitzel and said it was lovely. It came with pumpkin seeds in the coating. She also had to try the hot shots that we had heard about. She got the snow cap and the hot widow and loved them! They come with whipped cream and Baily's so not vegan. My other friend ordered cheese covered dumplings. She said they were nice but very rich. She said it was like eating a massive bowl of cheese so she actually left most of it. You can sit outside our inside and both have stunning panoramic views of the ski slopes and surrounding mountains. It's also very close to the old cable cars that bring you down to the bottom so a good place to stop and have a drink if you're nervous beginners like we were
