Take your time to get to the top.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a tough climb (380m), but definitely worth it! Many photo points with beautiful views. Very cheap to visit and they use the money just for upkeep and personnel. The paths are sometimes pretty steep, so bring good shoes. I also definitely recommend bringing a good raincoat, as some of the views are right under the waterfall so you'll definitely get wet if you want to see all of it. Depending on your fitness you'll take a few hours or longer to reach the top and go down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place with impressive waterfalls but a great walk around in the forest too. Path is well marked and of medium difficulty to go up and around the waterfalls and come back the other side. Recommended!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can take a taxi up the waterfall and only go down. Just that will take you 3 hours of slow walking with 2 and 5 year olds. Otherwise go ahead and do the climb (not recommended for small kids). Don't miss the lowest part of the waterfall where it lands into the river. A lot of spraying water and noise! Very recommended. The waterfall is amazing and the walk has a lot of stops really close to it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even in Winters it’s worth going, you will see partly frozen Waterfall and the Waterfall as well. It is a small 10 minute hike from the road and totally worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing views and walk up. We arrived at 11:30 and it was a bit crowded, if you want the opportunity to take pictures without many people in them you might want to visit earlier in the day. The path is wide and well maintained to make the walk as easy as possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The krimml waterfalls are an absolute wonder of the nature, one the most beautiful places we have been in Austria. I knew the Austrian countryside was cool, but I got impressed by so many extraordinary places like this one. Not only the nature itself, but the infrastructure, organization and support for tourists are really impressive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must visit...spectacular waterfalls, the trek thru the woods, trees still covered with snow. ..one with nature. So peaceful and serene. Totally loved it. Since it was off season, there wasn't any crowds or queues. ?
