G	Gabriela Reiter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Krabathhütte liegt ca. auf 1550m am Maltaberg, wunderbar eingebettet in der Natur. Kühe, Pferde, Schafe, sowie Ziegen stehen auf allen Almen rundum (sogar Ende Oktober ) und machen sich mit ihren Glocken bemerkbar. Wir haben eine traumhafte Woche hier oben verbracht und können sie jedermann nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Photovoltaikanlage hat prima funktioniert (Beleuchtung und Aufladen von Accus...) , der Holzofen fürs Kochen war perfekt ( diese Erfahrung möchte ich nicht missen, Geselchtes mit Kraut und Knödel, geröstete Knödel und Kaiserschmarrn, alles hat geschmeckt) Das Heizen für die Dusche mittels Holz hat auch super geklappt. Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und das Hüttenvermieterehepaar war extrem nett, lustig und hilfsbereit. Danke den Beiden für alles!!! The Krabathhütte is located at 1550m on Maltaberg, wonderfully embedded in nature. Cows, horses, sheep and goats stand on all pastures all around (even at the end of October) and make themselves felt with their bells. We spent a wonderful week up here and highly recommend it to anyone. The photovoltaic system worked well (lighting and charging Accus ...), the wood stove for cooking was perfect (I do not want to miss this experience, Geselchtes with cabbage and dumplings, roasted dumplings and Kaiserschmarrn, everything tasted) The heating for the shower Wood also worked great. We felt very, very well and the cabin rental couple was extremely nice, funny and helpful. Thank you both for everything !!!
O	Ottmar Henne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben zwar noch 4 Tage bis zur Abreise, können uns aber trotzdem ein Urteil über die Krabathütte und die Vermieter Gertraud und Thomas erlauben. Wir sind jetzt 10 Tage heroben am Maltaberg und genießen den tollen Ausblick in die Ferne. Von hier aus kann man sehr schöne Wanderungen direkt ab Hütte unternehmen. Obwohl es einige Hütten im Umfeld gibt, ist es recht ruhig. Ein tolles Bad im Untergeschoss, liebevoll eingerichtete Räume. In der Küche alles vorhanden. Netter Empfang mit Kärtner Reindl und Kaffee. Beim gemeinsamen Grillen haben wir viel erzählt und gelacht. Wir kommen gern wieder auf die Krabathütte wenn es uns in das Maltatal zieht! Danke euch lieben Hüttenwirten Gertraud und Thomas - es hat an Nichts gefehlt Although we still have 4 days to leave, but we can still allow a verdict on the Krabathütte and the landlords Gertraud and Thomas. We are now 10 days on the Maltaberg and enjoy the great view into the distance. From here you can make very nice walks directly from the hut. Although there are some huts in the area, it is quite quiet. A great bathroom in the basement, lovingly furnished rooms. Everything was available in the kitchen. Nice reception with Kärntner Reindl and coffee. We shared and laughed a lot while having a barbecue together. We like to come back to the Krabathütte when we move into the Maltatalatal! Es war eine wunderschöne, erholsame Woche in der Hütte. Die Gegend ist auch traumhaft schön. Man kann wunderschöne Wanderungen unternehmen. Wir werden wieder kommen, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, kümmern sich um alle Belange, sind immer erreichbar und zum Empfang gab es Kaffee und Kuchen! Die Aussicht von der Hütte ist fantastisch und die Lage ist super, weil man von dort aus verschiedenene Wanderung unternehmen kann! Alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail hergerichtet. Tolle Ausstattung und absolut sauber und gepflegt! Wir kommen gerne wieder! We spent a long weekend at the cottage and felt very well! The hosts are very nice, take care of all matters, are always available and the reception was coffee and cake! The view from the cabin is fantastic and the location is great because you can do various hikes from there! Everything is prepared with great attention to detail. Great amenities and absolutely clean and well maintained! We'll be back!
S	SM H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Angefangen von dem wahnsinnig tollen Ausblick, den man von dort oben hat, über die gut ausgestattete Hütte, bis zu den gemütlichen Schlafplätzen, kann man sich hier auf keinen Fall beschweren. Ein Hauch von Almgefühlen, durch die urig gebaute Hütte und ein tolle Aussicht am Abend, um einen Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett und überaus gastfreundlich, was nicht immer üblich ist! 5/5 würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Starting with the incredibly great view that you have from up there, over the well-equipped hut, to the cozy sleeping places, you definitely can't complain here. A touch of alpine feeling, through the rustic built hut and a great view in the evening to watch a sunset. The owners were very nice and extremely hospitable, which is not always the norm! 5/5 would definitely come again.
K	Karsten Eck on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind seit mehr als 14 Jahren Gäste dieser urigen Hütte. Das sagt eigentlich alles. Sie liegt in absoluter Traumlage, mit einem herrlichen Blick auf das Maltatal. Jedesmal wenn wir ankommen, genießen wir diesen Ausblick aufs Neue. Die alte Sennhütte wurde duch die Familie Oberwinkler liebevoll renoviert und verfügt mittlerweile auch über einen Innenzugang zum Bad. Wer Urlaub abseits des Massentourismus machen will, ist hier genau richtig. Hier gibt es noch wirkliche Gastfreundschaft. Für uns ist es jedesmal ein Urlaub bei Freunden. We have been guests of this quaint cottage for more than 14 years. That actually says everything. It is in absolute dream location, with a wonderful view of the Maltatal. Every time we arrive, we enjoy this view again. The old chalet was lovingly renovated by the family Oberwinkler and now also has an internal access to the bathroom. If you want to holiday off the beaten track, is just right. There is still real hospitality here. For us it is always a holiday with friends.
N	Niko Z. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super ausgestattete Hütte mit perfekter Lage am Südhang. Ganztägig Sonne! Es gibt Strom für Kleingeräte und einen Badeofen für Warmwasser. Eigentlich alles was man braucht. Die Hütte bietet einen perfekten Startpunkt fü Bergtouren, man ist mit dem Auto aber auch recht flott im Tal und kann dort diverse Boulder und Klettergebiete erkunden. Die Gastgeber sind sehr bemüht, das merkt man sofort. Sie halten die Hütte gut in Schuss und kümmern sich hervorragend um ihre Gäste. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Danke ? Super-equipped hut with a perfect location on the southern slope. Sun all day! There is electricity for small appliances and a bath heater for hot water. Actually everything you need. The hut offers a perfect starting point for mountain tours, but you are also quite quick in the valley by car and can explore various bouldering and climbing areas there. The hosts try very hard, you can tell immediately. They keep the hut in good shape and take excellent care of their guests. We'll be back for sure. Thank you ?
