My husband and I came here today and it was great. I was worried because it seemed kind of touristy and I usually avoid those places. But oh, the pastries and coffee did not disappoint. We had the chocolate banana cake and also the apple strudel. We want to be back already.

Absolutely love every details in this place! With a great value, you can enjoy few different bites! Everything is delicious! The service is great. We went in early, not a lot of people in there yet. Quite enjoy our time here. ☺️☺️

Went there for ice cream on a sunny summer day while the place was pretty full which is why it took quite a bit of time until the waitress picked up our order. Nevertheless, the chestnut ice cream cups were served rather speedy and were delicious. It was great that they let us customize the ice cream flavors of the cups to our liking but unfortunately the rather small amount of ice cream was covered by tons of whipped cream to make the cups appear more full. Also, the interior is pretty cute and makes it a good location for pictures.

I went there this afternoon with my two austrian friends, because we were visiting Bad Ischl and decided to go to this Kaffee in the early afternoon. It looked like a nice place to have a pastry before we took our train back to Linz. There was a misunderstanding from the very beginning as we wanted to eat our pastries inside, sitting at a table, and the lady at the desk somehow understood that we wanted to buy it to-go. No problem, those things can happen, especially when the place is crowded, and we weren’t upset at all. But as we sat down at the table and kindly told the waiter that there had been this misunderstanding and that we’d like three plates and some forks to eat it inside, he was completely rude to us and even made fun of us in front of other customers. He eventually brought us what we asked for but made a few more unpleasant comments. Before we left, we tried to kindly make him understand that his comments were unnecessary and wanted him to tell us what we had done wrong to make him so angry. He told us that we should have told from the beginning that we wanted to have it inside and not to-go and that we were making him do extra work (he also made some unfriendly comments about our looks). We once again told him that it all had been a misunderstanding and that we could have had a much more friendly conversation with him, instead of making fun of us and making us feel uncomfortable in front of other customers. The experience wasn’t nice at all and we returned to Linz not having completely enjoyed the trip to Bad Ischl. We got the feeling that this definitely might not be the place to be if you don’t fit with what might be the standards of the place or etiquette. As we were also made fun of by other customers at the table next to ours, who made very classist remarks about us. We just felt really unwelcome and didn’t know what to do or how to react.

Beautiful place in a beautiful city. Great selection of pastries. Very good service. Recommended.

Such a beautiful place! The food was very good and there is a very large choice of coffee, tea, chocolate and desert. We had a great lunch there.
