★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I agree the price €10 euro for a walk to the place not worth it. Nice little exhibition. Only visit if you’re very curious about Klimt himself, as he said people should understand him through his works anyway.
I’d say I’m surprised Klimt used to live in such an ordinary place tho, for a great artist he was and is. I’ve gained even more respect to him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The last working place of the artist, which gives you a clue of what an inspiring place can do. Very cosy, very nice and quiet area of the city (not too far from Schönbrunn as well). Every Saturday at 14 they have a guided tour. But check the website first. It was a lovely visit fulfilled by an artistic feeling. Got inspired!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely recommend this unique destination for art lovers. The tour is in German but the exhibition is in both German and English. I was particularly delighted to know that a) Klimt was quite into Asia arts! b) The Rose in the garden is the original Damascus rose he painted in the picture!
