Ein Ort für den Klettersportbegeisterten und zugleich ein außergewöhnliches Naturjuwel der Ruhe und Erholung.
Inaccessible and almost mystical, the rock formations of the Mönch (Mönchstein) rise above the valley of the Aist near the Prandegg castle ruins . A place for climbing enthusiasts and at the same time an extraordinary natural jewel of peace and relaxation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein bemerkenswerter Ort, ein Kleinod der Natur. Gigantische Granitfelsen und daneben die Aist!
Auch wenn man nicht klettern möchte, ist es eine kurze Pause und einen kleinen Abstecher über die Hängebrücke (nur zu Fuß) wert. Den kleinen Parkplatz neben der Straße könnte man leicht übersehen, daher Augen auf :-)
A remarkable place, a gem of nature. Gigantic granite rocks and next to it the Aist!
Even if you do not want to climb, it is worth a short break and a short detour over the suspension bridge (only on foot). The small parking lot next to the street could easily be overlooked, so keep your eyes open :-)
