★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like this village not so far from the Castle called "Schloss Hoff" the greatest in Austria regarding the surface of the garden!
Engelhartstetten is not a crowded place and they have a neat cafe, shop and bank. There is a place with private rooms but unfortunately it is very poor advertised in internet (well maybe - fortunately because this is why the place is so quiet!). "Lobau" - the well known national park, through which the bike route which links Vienna to Bratislava is only 4-5 km away. The village Stopfenreuth belongs to the same community and is on the mentioned bike route. Hainburg - a medieval town worth to see is not far from Engelhartstetten and is only over the Danube from Stopfenreuth. Another bike route which passes Engelhartstetten and Schlosshof: Marchfeldkanal - well Marchfeldschlosser is the name of the sektor which passes tangential to Engelhartstetten.
