The parish church of Gurnitz stands on a steep rock plateau on the Sattnitz slope. It is the oldest Martinskirche in Carinthia and is consecrated to St. Martin of Tours. It is beautifully surrounded by forest with a beautiful parsonage and a cemetery chapel .
