Es gibt soviele gute Österreichische Steckerlfisch im Raum Urfahr... aber um diesen hier würde ich einen großen Bogen machen!! Man wird beim Bestellen angeschnautzt. Ich weiß wirklich nicht woran es liegt aber die Besitzer wollen anscheinend keine Kunden .... die anderen Rezensionen sprechen für sich.... I have never experienced such unfriendly service! There are so many good Austrian steak fish in the Urfahr area ... but I would avoid this one !! You get scared when you order. I really don't know why but the owners don't seem to want customers ... the other reviews speak for themselves ....
a	aug. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wie hier mit den Gästen umgegangen wird ist einfach unfassbar. Man muss es selbst erlebt haben um es zu glauben. Ich wurde wegen einer Kleinigkeit angeschrien, beleidigt und schließlich vertrieben als wäre ich ein Schwerverbrecher. (Beim Bestellen der Makrelen habe ich mich leider im Preis verschaut. In Folge dessen konnte ich nur 1 statt 2 Fischen bezahlen, was mir natürlich selbst sehr unangenehm war. Ich versuchte mich höflich und ruhig bei der Dame zu entschuldigen. Dies wurde leider nicht angenommen sondern löste wie oa. bei der Dame ungeahnte Aggressionen aus.) Ich gehe sehr oft in Restaurants, Gasthäuser etc. aber so etwas habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt. Normalerweise hätte ich das restliche Geld beim nächst möglichen Bankomaten geholt aber ich denke so eine Art braucht man sich als Kunde wirklich nicht gefallen lassen. Am Ende wurde mir noch wutentbrannt nachgeschrien als hätte ich soeben die Kassen geleert. Wenn ich mir die anderen Rezensionen so durchsehe, dann bin ich wohl nicht der einzige mit dementsprechenden Erfahrungen. How the guests are treated here is simply unbelievable. You have to experience it yourself to believe it. I was yelled at for a little something, insulted and eventually evicted as if I were a felon. (Unfortunately, when ordering the mackerel, I looked at the price. As a result, I was only able to pay 1 fish instead of 2, which of course was very uncomfortable for me. I tried to apologize politely and calmly to the lady. Unfortunately, this was not accepted but solved as above. unimagined aggression from the lady.) I go to restaurants, inns, etc. very often, but I've really never seen anything like it. Normally I would have taken the rest of the money at the next possible ATM, but I think that as a customer you really don't need to put up with that kind of thing. In the end I was screamed at me in rage as if I had just emptied the cash register. If I look through the other reviews, then I'm probably not the only one with this kind of experience.

Wenn so mit jedem vermeintlichen Gast umgegangen wird dann wundert es mich warum hier überhaupt noch irgendjemand konsumiert! Wenn dies keine „Steckerlfischbude“ sondern ein Wirtshaus wäre dann hätten sie nach 1 Woche zusperren können! Das einzig gute ist die perfekte Lage…. was auch erklärt warum trotz allem noch Geld gemacht wird!!! Schrecklich wenn man sich denkt das andere sich weit mehr Bemühen und wegen der schlechteren Lage meist keine Kunden gewinnen….. I have never experienced something like that!!!!!! Extremely unfriendly, bad-tempered service! If every supposed guest is treated like this, then I wonder why anyone here is still consuming! If this was not a “fish stall” but a tavern then they could have locked up after 1 week! The only good thing is the perfect location…. which also explains why money is still being made in spite of everything! Terrible when you think that the other person is trying much harder and because of the worse situation they usually don't win any customers ...
s	sy wa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Fisch war ok. Die Bedienung nicht besonders freundlich. Dies habe ich bereits aus einer kurzen Bestellung bemerkt. Die Dame schien gereizt zu sein weil ich einen Fisch bestellte. Eigenartig. Die Toilette wurde vermutlich das letzte Mal vor 20 Jahren gereinigt. Einfach grauslig. Danach konnte ich den Fisch leider nicht mehr genießen. The fish was ok. The service is not particularly friendly. I already noticed this from a short order. The lady seemed irritable because I ordered a fish. Strange. The toilet was probably last cleaned 20 years ago. Just gruesome. After that I couldn't enjoy the fish anymore.
T	Thomas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hier vergeht einem der Appetit. Schon beim Bestellen wird man angeschnauzt als wäre man im falschen Film. Die Eigentümer schwimmen wohl im Geld. Das Lokal selbst ist relativ heruntergekommen und schreit förmlich nach einer Hygienekontrolle. Wie ist es möglich so etwas in Ö legal zu betreiben ... You lose your appetite here. Even when ordering, you get snapped at as if you were in the wrong film. The owners are probably swimming in money. The restaurant itself is relatively shabby and is crying out for a hygiene check. How is it possible to do something like this legally in Austria ...

Dann hab ich nochmal angerufen, ein Mann hebte ab und schnauzte mich an was ich will, dann hab ich gefragt ob sie einen Steckerlfisch haben und er schrie mich an, dass er mich eh schon 3 mal weggedrückt hat, was mein Problem sei und das sie keinen Steckerlfisch haben und legte wieder auf. So ein verhalten geht garnicht!! Habe dem nichts getan! Das man grundlos so angeschnautzt wird…. Ich hoffe er muss sein ranziges Lokal schließen!! Tried to call, after the 4th time someone picked up and hung up right away. Then I called again, a man answered and snapped at me for what I wanted, then I asked if they had a fish on a plug and he yelled at me that he had already pushed me away 3 times, what my problem was and that she don't have a plug fish and hung up again. Such behavior is not at all! Didn't do anything to that! That one is snapped at for no reason…. I hope he has to close his rancid place!!

It is a mom and pop place with local vibes and the best mackerel slow cooked over coals. I will be going back again this week!
