Anruf bei der Praxis von DDr. Neunteufel in Kitzbühel, die an besagtem Tag, nach vorangegangenem Urlaub, von acht bis fünfzehn Uhr Notfalldienst hat. Der Dame am anderen Ende der Leitung wird der Grund des Anrufs bzw. des Notfalls eines bekannten Patienten geschildert: Seit Tagen Kieferschmerzen einhergehend mit stark eingeschränkter Kiefermobilität (mögliche "Kiefersperre"), zusätzlich ein Tumor nahe des Kiefergelenks und eine somit dringend notwendige Untersuchung um festzustellen welche der akuten Beschwerden wovon hervorgerufen werden bzw. wie dem entgegengewirkt werden kann. Die Antwort der Dame, dass sie dafür heute wirklich keine Zeit habe (wie kann ein Notdienst, noch bevor er richtig begonnen hat, mit Terminen ausgebucht sein??), da eine solche Untersuchung zu zeitintensiv wäre (wie will man das ohne exakte Fakten zum jeweiligen Patienten beurteilen können??), bringt den Anrufer zum nachdenken. Hm. Stopp! Entweder ich habe den Begriff "Notfall" missverstanden, oder die Praxis besteht aus Personal, bei dem sowohl Zeitmanagement als auch Empathie und vor allem ärztliches Pflichtgefühl nicht existent sind? Die Antwort darauf überlasse ich jeder Leserin/jedem Leser für sich. Aber gut, schon in vier Tagen, ab kommenden Montag, ist die Praxis nach ca. zwei Wochen ja ohnehin wieder normal geöffnet, dann kann ich mal vorsichtig um einen so extra zeitaufwendigen Termin "anfragen". Aber ist nicht so dringend. Ist ja kein Notfall. Thursday, 03/01/2019 8:30 a.m. Call to the practice of DDr. Neunteufel in Kitzbühel, who on the said day, after the previous vacation, is on emergency duty from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The lady at the other end of the line is told the reason for the call or the emergency of a known patient: For days, jaw pain has been accompanied by severely restricted jaw mobility (possible "jaw lock"), an additional tumor near the temporomandibular joint and an urgently needed examination to determine it which of the acute complaints are caused by what or how they can be counteracted. The lady replied that she really didn't have the time for this today (how can an emergency service be fully booked with appointments before it has really started ??), since such an examination would be too time-consuming (how do you want to do that without exact facts about the can judge the respective patient ??), makes the caller think. Hmm stop! Either I misunderstood the term "emergency" or the practice is made up of staff who lack time management, empathy and, above all, a sense of medical duty? I leave the answer to each reader for themselves. But well, in four days, starting next Monday, the practice will be open again after about two weeks anyway, then I can carefully "inquire" about such an extra time-consuming appointment. But is not that urgent. It's not an emergency.
