★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wann ist man bei einem Handwerker eigentlich richtig? Für mich persönlich wenn das Zusammenspiel aus Lösungsorientiertheit, Sicherheit und Knowhow passt und ich mit den Preisen leben kann.
Was heisst das?
Thema Preis: Bei Handwerksbetrieben suche ich nach Langzeitpartnern. Preis ist wichtig, aber auch dass der Betrieb lang bestehen bleibt und wenn ich komme, immer die selben Gesichter da sind. Das zählt für mich persönlich mehr als das Prädikat beim Günstigsten zu sein.
Thema Lösungsorientiertheit: Klar, Vorschriften müssen sein. Gesetze erst Recht. Mein Handwerker ist für mich der Experte. Wenn er mir Lösungen aufzeigt, die einen geschickten Weg zwischen den gesetzlichen Pfeilern darstellen, freut mich das nicht nur, es beruhigt mich.
Thema Sicherheit: Alle Wege führen nach Rom ! Aber sind wir uns ehrlich, manche sind gefährlicher als andere. In Kombination mit dem Thema Preis habe ich da schon grausames erlebt. Ja, wenn Bremsbacken zu wechseln sind, dann ist das klar definiert. Aber auch da machts einen Unterschied ob mal schnell ausgewechselt wird oder die gesamte Mechanik gesäubert und in Stand gesetzt wird.
All diese Punkte sehe ich seit 10 Jahren bei Popp in Eichhorn erfüllt. Trotzdem habe ich mich innerfamiliär umleiten lassen und kehre jetzt reumütig zurück. Trotz gleichwertiger Ausbildung und ebenso guter Ausstattung war ich bei Popp Eichhorn immer besser bedient, als in der eigenen Familie und werde das auch zukünftig wieder sein.
When is it actually right to work with a craftsman? For me personally, if the interplay of solution orientation, security and know-how fits and I can live with the prices.
What does that mean?
Price topic: I am looking for long-term partners in craft businesses. Price is important, but also that the company lasts for a long time and when I come, the same faces are always there. For me personally, that counts more than being the cheapest.
Issue of being solution-oriented: Sure, regulations have to be. Laws even more. My craftsman is the expert for me. When he shows me solutions that represent a skilful path between the legal pillars, I am not only happy, it reassures me.
Security: All roads lead to Rome! But let's be honest, some are more dangerous than others. In combination with the issue of price, I have already experienced cruel things. Yes, when brake shoes need to be changed, that is clearly defined. But even there it makes a difference whether it is replaced quickly or the entire mechanism is cleaned and repaired.
I have seen all of these points fulfilled at Popp in Eichhorn for 10 years. Nevertheless, I let myself be rerouted within the family and now return ruefully. Despite the equivalent training and equally good equipment, I was always better served at Popp Eichhorn than in my own family and will be again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich war bei KFZ Popp in Eichhorn um zu fragen ob er eine Automatikgetriebe Spülung bei meinen BMW X5 durchführen kann und was es kosten soll. Nach 1er Woche warten hatte ich noch immer kein Angebot und wollte schon bei einem anderen nachfragen. Ich bin selbst KFZ Meister in Pension. Bin noch mal vorbeigefahren und bekam am selben Tag noch ein Angebot. Zum vereinbarten Termin hat alles super geklappt und der Preis wurde komplett eingehalten. Super Fotodokumentation gemacht.

I was at KFZ Popp in Eichhorn to ask if he could do an automatic transmission flush on my BMW X5 and what it should cost. After waiting 1 week I still had no offer and wanted to ask another. I am a motor vehicle master myself. I drove by again and got an offer on the same day. On the agreed date everything went great and the price was met in full. Great photo documentation made.
