P	Pumba Big on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dieses Ausflugsziel ist für Kinder ab 10 Jahren geeignet. In den Austellungshallen gibt es einiges zu sehen und zu lesen. Auf dem Pfad fanden wir viele Tafeln und viel zu lesen. Vielleicht waren wir auch zu früh da. Wir werden zum Sommer hin es uns noch mal ansehen. Vielleicht gibt es dann mehr. This destination is suitable for children aged 10 and over. There is a lot to see and read in the exhibition halls. On the path we found many boards and a lot to read. Maybe we were there too early. Es werden Ausschnitte aus Kärntner Sagen nachgespielt. ?☺️? The Celtic world of Frög is really a nice change. Every Thursday there is a tree-reading theater in the evening. Excerpts from Carinthian legends are played out. ?☺️?
E	Elisabeth Monamy on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Keltenwelt Frög versteckt sich zwischen einem Bikerlokal und einem grossen Spielplatz. Dieser ermöglicht Kindern ausgiebig zu spielen, aber der Eingang zur Keltenwelt ist verdeckt. Das Freilichtmuseum ist interessant. Mir sind die Erklärung aus Sicht der Griechen und Römer zu häufig. Ich hätte mehr Erkenntnisse aus den Ausgrabungen erwartet. Die Erklärungstafeln sind in 4 Sprachen: Deutsch, Englisch, italienisch une slowenisch. Wer aber die Texte lesen möchte muss sehr gute Augen haben: es ist sehr viel Text in kleiner Schrift und wenige Abbildungen. Die Texte auf Englisch, italienisch und slowenisch sind noch kleiner und fast auf Bodenhöhe. Keine Ahnung was die Vermittlung sich dabei gedacht hat. Sollen Touristen kniend die Texte lesen??? Im Museum sind sehr schöne Stücke ausgestellt, leider auch sehr viele replikas aus anderen Österreichischen Fundorte. Da stellt sich schon die Frage ob so wenige Funde vor Ort gemacht wurden oder warum wenig ausgestellt ist. Der Museumsshop besteht hauptsächlich aus Bücher zum Thema Kelten und wenigen Replika. Ich habe von der Keltenwelt Frög schon viel gehört war von Besuch leider enttäuscht, da ich mir mehr erwartet habe. Mehr Informationen zu den Kelten vor Ort oder in der Umgebung. Mehr über die außergewöhnlichen Funde (Wagen, Grabbeigaben, usw...). Mehr über die Ausgrabungen (Methoden, Berichte) The Celtic world of Frög is hidden between a biker bar and a large playground. From the perspective of the Greeks and Romans, the explanation is too frequent for me. I would have expected more knowledge from the excavations. The explanatory boards are in 4 languages: German, English, Italian and Slovenian. But if you want to read the texts you have to have very good eyesight: there is a lot of text in small letters and few illustrations. The texts in English, Italian and Slovenian are even smaller and almost at floor level. No idea what the agency was thinking. Should tourists kneel down to read the texts ??? In the museum there are very beautiful pieces on display, unfortunately also a lot of replicas from other Austrian sites. The question arises whether so few finds were made on site or why little is on display. The museum shop consists mainly of books on the subject of Celts and a few replicas. I have heard a lot about the Celtic world of Frög and unfortunately I was disappointed with the visit because I expected more. More information about the Celts on site or in the area. More about the extraordinary finds (wagons, grave goods, etc ...). More about the excavations (methods, reports)
