T	Thiemo Kleinmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolle Natur und angenehme Strecke für Motorradfahrer. Am Stausee vorbei geht es hoch zum Gletscher. Meiner Meinung nach eher zum angenehmen "Sightseeing cruisen" und weniger zum heizen. Ich war in den wirklich heißen Tagen Ende Juni 2019 oben und man konnte dem Klimawandel quasi zuschauen. Selbst da oben war es viel zu warm und der Schnee ist viel zu schnell geschmolzen. Dennoch natürlich eine beeindruckende Naturkulisse. Great nature and a pleasant route for motorcyclists. Past the reservoir it goes up to the glacier. In my opinion, more for pleasant "sightseeing cruising" and less for heating. I was up on the really hot days at the end of June 2019 and you could almost watch the climate change. Even up there it was way too warm and the snow melted way too quickly. Nevertheless, of course, an impressive natural backdrop.

So kommt man auch bei meterhohem Schnee, mit dem Auto -mit Schneeketten- auf 2750m Höhe, über die geräumte Straße. Die Straße verläuft durch eine sehr tolle Landschaft. Der See ist märchenhaft, vor allem bei Schnee. This street is really unique! The Kaunertal Glacier Road is one of the few mountain roads that can be used by car even in winter. So you can get to the cleared road even with meter-high snow, with the car - with snow chains - at an altitude of 2750m. The road runs through a very great landscape. The lake is magical, especially when it is snowing.
K	Klaus G. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die mautpflichtige Straße ist jeden Cent wert. Es geht durch beeindruckende Landschaft in vielen Kehren bis zur Talstation der Gletscherbahn. Dort kann man auch einkehren. Es lohnt sich auch, unterwegs einmal anzuhalten, um die Bergkulisse auf sich wirken zu lassen. The toll road is worth every penny. It goes through an impressive landscape in many bends to the valley station of the glacier lift. You can also stop there. It's also worth stopping on the way to take in the mountain scenery.
U	User B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Diese wunderschöne Straße führt leider nur zu sehr mageren Resten eines ehemals mächtigen Gletschers. Aber Unter Gletscher verstehe ich etwas anderes. Hätte ich gewusst, dass mich im Sommer nur eine Mondlandschaft mit einem kleinen Überrest eines Gletschers, in dem man auf ein paar Metern eine Gletscherspalte begehen kann erwartet, wäre ich dort nicht mit dem Auto hingefahren. Als Motorradstrecke ist die Straße verständlicherweise sehr beliebt. Unfortunately, this beautiful road only leads to very meager remains of a once mighty glacier. But I understand something else by glaciers. If I had known that only a lunar landscape with a small remnant of a glacier awaits me in summer, where you can walk a crevasse a few meters away, I would not have driven there by car. As a motorcycle route, the road is understandably very popular.

Die Straße beginnt kurz nach Feichten bei der Mautstelle auf 1273 m, und endet nach 26 km und 29 Kehren auf 2750 m. Von hier aus besteht die Möglichkeit mit der Falgingjochbahn auf 3113 m, bzw. mit der Karlesjochbahn auf 3108 m zu fahren. Alles in allem ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Die 25 Euro Mautgebühr sind es auf jeden Fall wert. Wonderful panorama road in the rear Kaunertal. The road starts shortly after Feichten at the toll booth at 1273 m and ends after 26 km and 29 hairpin bends at 2750 m. From here it is possible to take the Falgingjochbahn at 3113 m or the Karlesjochbahn at 3108 m. All in all, an unforgettable experience. The 25 euro toll is definitely worth it.
S	Stefan Karl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Kaunertaler Gletscherstrasse ist zwar mautpflichtig, aber jeden Cent wert. Erst der sanfte Einstieg und dann mit immer schöneren Kehren auf 2750m. Die Eindrücke sind schwer zu beschreiben. Wasserfälle, Ausblicke ohne Ende und einfach diese tolle Strasse. Oben angekommen warten eine Gaststätte, Seilbahnen,ein begehbarer Gletscher und die Aussicht. Auf jeden Fall genug Zeit nehmen, es ist zu schön um es nur abzuhaken!. Alleine der Wasserspeicher mit der gigantischen Staumauer ist unglaublich. The Kaunertaler Gletscherstrasse is toll, but worth every penny. First the gentle entry and then with increasingly beautiful hairpin bends at 2750m. The impressions are difficult to describe. Waterfalls, endless views and just this great road. Once at the top, a restaurant, cable cars, an accessible glacier and the view await. Definitely take enough time, it's too good to just tick it off! The water reservoir with the gigantic dam wall alone is unbelievable.

When the weather is good, I can only recommend it to every car / motorcycle lover. The view becomes more beautiful with every turn.
R	Rudolf Fleischhacker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es ist ein langer Weg von der A12 bis zum Gletscherhaus auf über 2700m. Der letzte Teil der Panoramastraße mit den unzähligen Serpentinen ist gewaltig. Man ist versucht alle paar Meter stehen zu bleiben, weil es wieder einen besonders schönen Ausblick auf den See, ins Tal oder in die mächtigen Berge gibt. Von den Gletschern sind nur mehr Reste zu sehen. It's a long way from the A12 to the glacier house at over 2700m. The last part of the panorama road with the countless serpentines is huge. You are tempted to stop every few meters because there is again a particularly beautiful view of the lake, the valley or the mighty mountains. Only remnants of the glaciers can be seen.
