★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Hohe Wand kennen viele im Osten Österreichs. Aber wenige kennen die schönen Platzerln am Fuße der Hohen Wand und in der Neuen Welt. Letzteres ist das der Hohen Wand vorgelagerte Tal.
Die Kirche Maiersdorf thront hoch über der Ortschaft und ist schon von weitem zu sehen. Diese ist schon sehr alt und man vermutet, dass das Gebäude auf den Fundamenten eines römischen Kastells errichtet wurde.
Die Lage der Kirche ist sehr schön. Man hat einen Blick über die Ortschaft und auf die Hohe Wand. Wer die Hohe Wand zu Fuß erklimmt, könnte schon mal vorbei kommen, denn es führt ein Wanderweg vorbei.
Auch das Innere der Kirche ist sehenswert.

Maiersdorf Church towers high above the village and can be seen from afar. This is very old and it is believed that the building was built on the foundations of a Roman fort.
The location of the church is very beautiful. You have a view over the village and the Hohe Wand. Anyone who climbs the Hohe Wand on foot could come by, because a hiking trail leads past it.
The interior of the church is also worth seeing.
