M	Monika Himsl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Weit sichtbar an der Wagramkante gelegene Pfarr- und Wallfahrtskirche zu Maria Trost. Wundertätige Marienstatue am Hauptaltar. Vom umgebenden Friedhof hat man einen prachtvollen Blick von der Rosenbrücke in Tulln im Osten bis zum Stift Göttweig bei Krems im Westen. Natürlich nur an Tagen mit klarem und geeigneten Wetter mit Fernsicht. Auch wenn die Kirche tagsüber versperrt ist, kann man durch das große Nebentor im Westen jederzeit eintreten und dort einen Blick auf den Innenraum der Kirche werfen. Der Bau ist auf romanischer Basis ausgebaut und sowohl außen als auch innen barockisiert worden. Innen mit viel Gold und Illusionsmalerei. Interrssant auch der alte Friedhof, der sich auf drei Ebenen halbrund südlich um die Kirche schlingt. Vpn dem Platz vor der Kirche aus entspringen auch zwei Fußwege. Der "Katzensprung" hinab nach Osten bis zur Passauerstraße und der "Kirchenweg" nach Westen, der weiter in die "Beethovenstiege" mündet.
