★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hanfthal ist seit 1784 eine eigenständige Pfarre. Da die damalige Kirche am Friedhof viel zu klein war, beschloss man eine neue Kirche zu bauen. Im Jahre 1844 wurde unter Pfarrer Johann Kafka, Ing. Spitzar und Baumeister Reischl mit dem Rohbau des Gotteshauses begonnen. 1845 wurde das 3,3 m hohe Turmkreuz und ein Jahr später die Glocken im 45m hohen Turm geweiht. Nach der Fertigstellung erfolgte am 31. Oktober 1847 die feierliche Kirchenweihe durch Dechant Holzinger. Der Schutzpatron der Kirche und der Pfarre ist der Hl. Florian.
Hanfthal has been an independent parish since 1784. Since the church at the cemetery at that time was much too small, it was decided to build a new church. In 1844, pastor Johann Kafka, Ing. Spitzar and master builder Reischl started the shell of the church. In 1845 the 3.3 m high tower cross and a year later the bells in the 45 m high tower were consecrated. On completion on October 31, 1847, Dechant Holzinger ceremoniously consecrated the church. The patron saint of the church and parish is St. Florian.
