★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In der Kapelle am Friedhof, werden die verstorbenen Bürger von Rum aufgebahrt. Im Außenbereich vor der Kapelle befinden sich links neben dem Eigang Gedenkstafeln mit den Namen der gefallenen Rumer Soldaten aus den beiden Weltkriegen (WWI, WWII). Einmal im Jahr, im November, findet dort die Kriegergedenksfeier statt. Abordnungen wie Musik, Feuerwehr und Schützen gedenken dort ihren gefallenen Kameraden. Nicht zu vergessen die etwas älteren Herren mit brächtigem Federschmuck am Hut und zahlreichen Orden auf der Brust, die berühmt berüchtigten Tiroler Kaiserjäger.
 The deceased citizens of Rum are laid out in the chapel at the cemetery. In the outer area in front of the chapel, to the left of the entrance, there are memorial plaques with the names of the fallen soldiers from Rumi from the two world wars (WWI, WWII). Once a year, in November, the war memorial ceremony takes place there. Delegations such as music, fire brigade and riflemen commemorate their fallen comrades there. Not to forget the somewhat older men with lavish feather ornaments on their hats and numerous medals on their chests, the infamous Tyrolean Kaiserjäger.
