Vermutlich wurde die "Kalvarienberg - Kirche" im Jahr 1664 erbaut u. am 24. Oktober 1665 eingeweiht. Die "Kalvarienberg - Kapelle" ist ein Achteckbau und eigentlich eine Kapelle der "Schmerzhaften Mutter Gottes!" Am Hochaltar steht die wunderschöne Pieta - eine Darstellung Mariens mit ihrem toten Sohn - aus der Zeit um 1430 An der Außenseite der Kirche (wo sich der Blick über Innsbruck erstreckt) befindet sich ein großes "Kruzifix" Zur Kapelle rauf gibt es 7 Kreuzwegstationen! Eine sehr schöne Kapelle mit wunderbaren Ausblick über Innsbruck, bis hin über die Thaurer Felder, Patscherkofl,...... Für Fotografen ? The "Kalvarienberg Chapel" is located exactly 100 meters above the city of Innsbruck - at an altitude of 674 m! Presumably the "Kalvarienberg - Kirche" was built in 1664 a. at the Inaugurated October 24, 1665. The "Kalvarienberg - Kapelle" is an octagonal building and actually a chapel of the "Sorrowful Mother of God!" On the high altar is the beautiful Pieta - a representation of Mary with her dead son - from around 1430 On the outside of the church (where the view extends over Innsbruck) there is a large "crucifix" Up to the chapel there 7 stations of the cross! A very beautiful chapel with a wonderful view over Innsbruck, to the Thaurer fields, Patscherkofl, ...... For photographers ?
