★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöne und saubere Zimmer mit in sich passenden Raumdesign. Keine zusammengewürfelten Möbel oder ähnliches.
Die Küche abends und das Frühstück ist richtig gut und lecker.
 Very nice and clean rooms with a fitting room design. No thrown together furniture or the like.
The kitchen in the evening and the breakfast is really good and tasty.

Speisen sehr gut, auch für das Auge sehr schön garniert.
Preisniveau €€, schönes Ambiente, Kellner freundlich aber aufgrund der Massen (sehr großes Speiselokal) überfordert.
Aber es hat am Sonntag in Graz offen,
was ja bekanntlich zu suchen ist!
Small menu with unusual dishes and combinations, but quite interesting!
Food was very good, also very nicely garnished for the eye.
Price level €€, nice ambience, waiters friendly but overwhelmed due to the crowds (very large restaurant).
But it's open on Sunday in Graz,
what is known to be looking for!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Johanneshof is a great place in the northern parts of Graz. Its roofed patio is ideal to spend hours in and even when the weather is not ideal you can spend your time in fresh air while staying dry due to this roofed patio. So if you can get a table here it’s a wonderful spot for large parts of the year.
The building and its interior is light and bright in country style like an elegant Inn and the staff is friendly and willing to help.
The menu offers typical Austrian/Styrian food and the meals we had were delicious. One had the famous Austrian Tafelspitz, another had the chicken breast (of the corn-fed chicken) with mushroom risotto and another one of our group had the beef tartar with quail-egg in marinated ruccola, butter and white bread.
I had the Styrian Backhendl, a breaded chicken half, you can have with or without skin. I took it without skin, the traditional Styrian way.

Reservations on weekends definitely necessary.
The waiters were very friendly and helpful, service was quick, the food was perfect, pricing is bit high but fair for the offered service.
Perfect for larger groups, birthdays, weddings, business meetings.
