Nice place, rooms are a oldschool, but regarding the price absolutely ok. Nice garden, ideal for kids. Free ipads for guests during the stay. Very friendly hosts!

Family accommodation in the middle of Kaprun. Really kind host and the best breakfast in the city. And i can't forget for Nelli, pretty and nice labradoodle dog. I know we will get back during winter. If you want to spend holiday in Kaprun, I recommend you spend it in Johannahof Apartment.

If you are planning a trip to one of the most breathtaking parts of the European Alps and are looking to stay at an authentic Austrian Bed and Breakfast with out the tourism gimmicks then look no further. The building itself has a very warm homey feel. Rod-iron adorns the marble staircase that will take you to your room/apartment. The rooms are extremely clean and have the cozy Austrian beds and comforters that one should come to expect. The rooms are fully equipped to cook and serve whatever food pleases you. Speaking of food, the traditional breakfast room is another highlight of the inn. Doris the manager is amazingly helpful and friendly; she makes you feel like you are home and part of the family when you stay here. Other highlights of Johannahof include: A full working sauna and foot bath for private use, plenty of storage for skis and equipment, pet friendly, a rather large side yard for outdoor activities, breathtaking views, minutes walk to shops and restaurants, the bus to the ski slopes picks up less than a minute walk away, basement bar and dart room, a more than lovable dog named Nelli who is great with people of all ages, and a whole lot more! I had an amazing time and already have flights booked to return in eight weeks. I am happy to report that I will be staying at Johannahof for every visit to Kaprun from here on out. If you are looking for a real taste of Austria then you will feel like home when staying here.

Very nice and welcoming location with spacious and comfortable apartments, 3 minutes drive by the ski slope station. (Also there is a free bus in front of the hotel) They have a very cool selfservice "honesty bar" that is welcome after a day of skiing. Very welcoming host, always available to guests. Good breakfast. I highly recommend
