★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das war vermutlich unser schönster Eindruck in st.jakob. zu Fuß einer aussichtsreichen Straße entlang, am Hang der einige schöne Wanderrouten hat, aber auch per Fahrzeug erreichbar ist. Hier kocht Wirtin und Wirt. Frischer geht's nicht. Wir werden uns noch lange an die hausgemachten Mehlspeisen erinnern.
Kompliment für soviel Originalität!
That was probably our best impression in st.jakob. walk along a scenic road on the slope that has some beautiful hiking routes, but can also be reached by vehicle. The landlord and landlady cook here. It doesn't get any fresher. We will remember the homemade pastries for a long time.

sind mehr als günstig. Es ist eigentlich ein Muss,wenigstens einmal im Urlaub
die Jagastube zu besuchen. Wer einmal dort war kommt bestimmt wieder
Great location and the whole great family, where every guest feels at home. All dishes are freshly prepared from our own production
are more than cheap. It is actually a must, at least once on vacation
to visit the Jagastube. Anyone who has been there once will definitely come back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1 Stunde von St. Jakob auf guter Straße nach oben gekraxelt und was war, geschlossen bis 30.06. Aber dank Josef 2 Bierchen und herrliche Aussicht, danke für die Gastfreundschaft. Jederzeit wieder gerne.
Climbing up on a good road 1 hour from St. Jakob and whatever was closed until June 30th. But thanks to Josef 2 beers and a wonderful view, thanks for the hospitality. Anytime again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jagastube is the perfect place to relax if you are around this area. The hosts are very friendly and so are their dogs. This is a family-run business so staying here ensures the success of the local community. The hosts only speak German but even if you cannot speak their language (like me), they take the time to make sure you are happy and comfortable. The food is authentic and very good. I have stayed here twice now for one week, over multiple years, and feel so comfortable here. At night you can sit outside and look at the stars. During the day you can sit on the patio and enjoy the sun. It is a working farm so if you are interested in this you can experience farm life as well. From this location you can easily hike into the mountains as well as reach the local village. In short, the place is perfect if you are looking for a casual stay in the beautiful Austrian Alps.
