Am Ende vom Staufensee beim Schaukraftwerk Ebensand gelegen ist das eine tolle Pausenmöglichkeit wenn man mit kleinen Kindern unterwegs ist - es gibt auch Eis ?. Meistens im Sommer auch bei Schlechtwetter offen, denn nach einem starken Regen sind die Schluchtenbesuche besonders imposant. Für mich persönlich könnte der Kaffee etwas mehr hergeben. Located at the end of the Staufensee at the Ebensand show power station, this is a great break if you are traveling with small children - there is also ice cream ?. Die nette Frau, der der Imbiss gehört, welcher vor dem alten Wasserkraftwerk mit einem Schauraum steht, reicht einem schnell leckere Speisen und große Getränke zu einem wirklich untertriebenen Preis. Natürlich sollte man kein 3-Sterne-Restaurant mit großer Speisekarte erwarten, aber wenn man eh schon die Rappenlochschlucht besucht und auf dem Weg zum Alploch ist oder sich von den steilen Treppen erholen möchte, sollte man kurz mal reinschauen. We discovered this snack by chance at the Staufensee, after visiting the extremely interesting Rappenloch Gorge. The nice woman who owns the snack bar, which stands in front of the old hydroelectric power plant with a showroom, is enough for a delicious meal and great drinks at a really understated price. Of course, you should not expect a 3-star restaurant with a large menu, but if you already visited the Rappenlochschlucht and on the way to the Alploch is or would like to recover from the steep stairs, you should just take a look.

Σνακς,αναψυκτικά,παγωτά και μια επιλογή μόνο καφέ εσπρέσσο. The end of an amazing hiking trail next to running water, waterfalls and an artificial lake. The shop has the basics for a hiker. Zwischen Staufensee und Alplochschlucht gelegen, trifft man hier auf Familien mit Hund und Kinderwagen, Busausflugstouristen, Tagesausflüger und Wanderer. Der Ort bietet alles nötige für eine kurze Rast. Ob Radler, Eis, Bockwurst oder was Süßes. Die Bedienung war nett und hilfsbereit. Empfehlung: sich nebenan im Schauraum die Maschinen und Geschichte vom Wasserkraftwerk anschauen. Sociable place with mixed audience.
