Der damalige Besitzer des Anwesens am Pfalzberg, Matthias Jandl, hatte den Bau als Dank für den guten Verlauf seiner Vorhaben errichtet.
Im Jahre 1870 wurde die Kapelle vom damaligen Besitzer des Anwesens vlg. "Jandl", Franz Lackner, in ihrer heutigen Form neu erbaut.
The construction of the original Jandlkapelle on Pfalzberg dates back to 1840.
The then owner of the Pfalzberg estate, Matthias Jandl, had built the building as a thank you for the good progress of his plans.
In 1870, the chapel of the then owner of the estate was vlg. "Jandl", Franz Lackner, rebuilt in its present form.
