★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Man sollte in jedem Fall mal zur Hungerburg fahren. Entweder mit der Standseilbahn oder auch dem Bus. Von hier hat man ein schöne Sicht auf Innsbruck und die Station Hungerburg ist architektonisch auch interessant.
 You should definitely go to the Hungerburg. Either by funicular or by bus. From here you have a beautiful view of Innsbruck and the Hungerburg station is also architecturally interesting.

Posteriormente, en ese año 2.005, el funicular se cerró, construyéndose otro con un nuevo trayecto, más moderno, y que se pondría en funcionamiento el 1 de diciembre de 2.007, partiendo su estación inicial del mismo centro de la ciudad de Innsbruck, con una longitud cercana a los 1.900 metros, visita que recomiendo por la preciosidad del paisaje alpino.
