Coole historische (zB Dokumente zu U1 Ubahnbeginn in den 1960ern) und allgemein informative Ubahn Details (zB zu Bodenanalyse) bei den Exponaten. Viel Interaktives für Kinder. Und jetzt auch mehr Öffnungszeiten (früher nur 1x pro Woche). Friendly staff. A lot of information. Cool historical (e.g. documents on U1 subway start in the 1960s) and generally informative subway details (e.g. on soil analysis) for the exhibits. A lot of interactive for children. And now more opening hours (previously only once a week).

Hier kann man die Unterschiede verschiedener U-Bahn-Systeme kennenlernen und verstehen wie eine U-Bahn und deren Bau funktioniert. Vorrangig geht es aber um den Neubau und die Verlängerung der U-Bahnlinien 2 und 5. Eine interaktive Veranschaulichung zeigt sehr schön wie der Bau funktioniert. Dort kann jeder seinen eigenen U-Bahntunnel virtuell bauen und erfährt aktiv worauf man achten muss. Außerdem kann man in die Vergangenheit reisen und schauen wie einige Stationen in den letzten Jahren entstanden sind. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Ausstellung, in der man ganz gerne man 2 Stunden zubringen kann. The Info Center U2XU5 is the perfect counterpart to the Transport Museum Remise. Very informative and elaborately designed exhibition. If you want to know something about the construction of the new U5 line, then this is the place for you.

Hier geht es selbstredend um die U-Bahn und natürlich um die Neuerungen zu U2 und der komplett neuen, autonomen U5. Coole Sache und das Thema wird in spielerisch einfacher Art und Weise, für jeden und auch für unterschiedliche Altersstufen, dargestellt. Danke, auch an die dort beschäftigten Mitarbeiter, die jedem Besucher jederzeit gerne bei Fragen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen. Ich komme sicher wieder, den ich hatte für den ersten Besuch zu wenig Zeit eingeplant. A very interesting and interactive information center operated by Wiener Linien in the middle of the city. This is of course about the subway and of course the innovations to U2 and the completely new, autonomous U5. Cool thing and the topic is presented in a playful simple way, for everyone and also for different ages. Thank you, also to the employees who work there, who are always happy to assist every visitor with any questions they may have. I'll be back for sure, because I didn't plan enough time for the first visit.
