★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very quiet, too many people miss this lovely look into what royalty actually used. Nice to see after the palaces to imagine them. Good for an hour ish with audio guide. Area cafes are also much cheaper or enjoy the gardens of this museum for a glass of wine/bite to eat.
Might be quiet or loud depending on neighbouring playground.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an impressive collection, complete with both German and English explanations of many individual pieces as well as the historical context surrounding them. Audioguides were unavailable when we visited, but not really missed.
There are many items from the Habsburgs as well as from designers in the 20th (and 21st) century. You may want to consider the Sissi ticket that grants you access to this and a couple other museums.
This is a must-see if you're interested in interior/furniture design.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting furniture museum, u can see many old royal furnitures and sissi dresses and belongings. Also there is a section with furnitures , which u could see in the old black & white films about sissi. You could need apprx 1 hour to see all the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Included in Sisi-ticket (insider tip to buy it there, because no waiting like in Hofburg or Schönbrunn), we saw more things than we expected. Interesting with free audio guide. Relaxed, not so crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful museum with a lot of wonderful furniture.
They have some amazinghistoric furniture that's incredible!
I'm usually not a big fan of museums but I loved this one. It could be strange to visit a "furniture Museum" but you'll miss something if you don't visit it !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful museum with all kinds of furniture, objects and what have you, from the palaces and emperor. Biggest collection of old furniture in the world. Also they have a special of sissy, the emperor's wife. Movie related stuff and pieces they used in the film.
Also an extra exhibition of the things happened during war time and how furniture played a role in it. All sorts of requisites and stories. Really worth to see it. Buy i a 3 in 1 ticket at the sissy palace to visit schonbrunn, sissy and the furniture depot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place. You can see a lot of different furniture in this exhibition, which definitely transports you right back into the imperial times. It is a wide range form old to new examples with interesting sides facts.
Right now, we participated in the "Sissi throughout the movies" tour, which is a current exhibition.
