★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein wunderschöner Bergsee mit sehr unterschiedlichem Wasserstand. Im Frühsommmer ist der See meist gut von der Schneeschmelze gefüllt und trocknet in einem trockenen Sommer auch mal komplett aus. Das macht die Wanderung dorthin besonders spannend, findet man eine grüne Bergwiese vor, einen Tümpel oder aber einen großen See. Umrahmt ist der See von hohen Bergen, die sich im See herrlich spiegeln.
Den See erreicht man über einen geschotterten Fahrweg von der Ehrwalderalm startend. Wenn man noch Lust hat, kann man nachdem man am Igelsee pausiert hat, noch bis zum Seebensee und zur Coburger Hütte mit dem Drachensee weitermarschieren. Eine sehr sehenswürdige Seentour ??
A beautiful mountain lake with very different water level. In the early summer, the lake is usually well filled with snow melt and dries completely dry in a dry summer. This makes the hike there particularly exciting, you will find a green mountain meadow in front, a pond or a large lake. The lake is surrounded by high mountains, which are beautifully reflected in the lake.
The lake is reached via a gravel road from the Ehrwalderalm starting. If you still feel like it, after you have paused at the lake Igelsee, you can march on until Seebensee and the Coburg hut with the dragon lake. A very interesting lake tour ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wunderschön für einen Spaziergang und etwas abseits des Weges zum Eeibensee. Leider aktuell aber auch sehr ausgetrocknet. Kaum mehr als eine große Pfütze. Dafür angenehm ruhig und mit schönem Bergpanorama zu beiden Seiten.
Wonderful for a walk and a bit off the path to the Eeibensee. Unfortunately, it is currently very dry. Little more than a large puddle. But pleasantly quiet and with a beautiful mountain panorama on both sides.

It is steep hike from the Ehrwald Alm (around 200 metres to ascend)
