★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In my opinion it was one of the most disappointing experience at least in the Pongau. The location is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the hotel itself is very cosy, but the food is inedible, especially in despite of the price. For that amount of money you can literally anywhere else nearby and eat much better.
I have two examples: 1. Wiener schnitzel: they used bad oil so we felt not too good after eating it and 2. The had barbecue, cost 30€ per person just the food, no drinks, whereas the selection as also the quality of the meat was sub standard for our organic beef region.
No recommendation for the kitchen. You may stay there, it's beautiful, but don't eat there. Take your time to drive into the town and choose from one of the star kitchens with the Same amount of money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location, with a serene lake view. Perfect for swimming in on a hot summer's day as a great day off. The food in the hotel was excellent, as was their wide range of iced beverages. I would highly recommend this location as place to spend a day out. The hotel is located in a picturesque Valley and there is a gorgeous view. The service from the staff was quick and courteous. 8/10
