However, the beds were not comfortable and the pillows were small, hard and lumpy. The shower was tiny. Breakfast was uninspired; the only hot food was frankfurters. I enquired if there were any eggs, and was informed that they were available every other day. "Every day something different!" I ate toast and jam, which was all I could fancy. Coffee was weak and tasteless. Added to this, staff were abrupt to the point of rudeness - and they don't take credit cards. The guesthouse was inexpensive, but still not good value for money.
