The hotel is typically Austrian with regards to the décor and beautiful wooden features everywhere. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices. We liked the hotel very much, its hospitality and friendly atmosphere. It was an ideal base for little hiking or local discovery tours. The food is outstanding and gives a great taste of the local kitchen and its specialities. The sleeping comfort in our spacy room was also excellent and every morning you have this stunning view from your window if the sun comes out. The only reason why I don´t give five stars is that once in a while you notice some detail which strucks you as a little worn out or outdated. That is probably normal for an authentic estate of that age. So most guests won´t pay much attention and just enjoy an unspoiled stay. That is more than okay because you won´t miss a single thing. I can especially recommend the small but very comfortable sauna area.
E	Edith Sche on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Atmosphere in Hotel "Schloss Lerchenhof" was very welcoming, friendly, polite and honest. We felt more as appreciated members of the family than mere guests. The experience "Fascination bacon" was extremely interesting, mouth-watering and full of nice suprises. Due to the nice weather we could also use the relaxing garden. Staff is very polite and friendly. The interior has the charms of an Biedermeier-mansion. As the building is under protection of historic buildings don't expect a lift or anything too modern but the funiture and fixtures have their own attraction. We like the values under which the Steinwender-family and their staff live and work together (freedom, honesty, dignity with which people and animals are treated, appreciation).
