★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy restaurant in the center of Altenmarkt. Plenty to eat for very reasonable prices! You can choose from a variety of traditional meals or you can even chose a beafy "Rosner" burger. The staff is also very friendly and very helpfull.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ended up eating here quite often during our skiing trip. Service was consistently good, food options were focused on traditional Austrian cuisine with some extras such as pizza & pasta.
Vegie options were marked on the menu, however there were not loads to choose from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed here this summer and used the hotel as a base to ride the Stoneman Taurista in one day. The room was modern and spacious and also had a large balcony. The staff was very friendly, helpful and flexible with breakfast and dinner since I had a long day out. More bonus points when they checked on me and brought me a drink when I layed down in the parking lot for a minute after the 139km ride.
The convenient location allowed me to ride the Stoneman route in 2 loops and have a much needed shower and lunch in between.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here because of veg options. Unfortunately. The vegetarian schnitzel was frozen inside. After heating, they forgot to bring the potatoes that were part of it. The broth was very salted. Half the staff was rude. Never more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm vegan, and I visited the restaurant with my sister who's also vegan, my mother who's a meat eater, and my father who's a vegetarian. Overall, we had an okay experience, but we weren't so pleased with our food. The Thai curry was tasty, but the rest of the food was either undercooked or simply just bad. The vegan ice cream we ordered was also inedible, and they charged us extra for every little thing. Despite the curry, we wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were impressed with the selection of vegetarian dishes on the menu, and decided to give the Gasthaus (restaurant) a try.
Whao! Amazing!!!
Imagine a table of 5 vegetarians, each trying a different dish, and everybody raving about their choice!!! And there were more vegetarian and vegan dishes we will try next time!
Highly recommendable!
