★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lage und Frühstück jeweils ein Stern. Das war's aber dann auch schon. Ein Einzelzimmer mit einer bezogenen Couch als Dreibettzimmer anzubieten und auch als solches zu verrechnen ist ganz schön dreist.
 Location and breakfast each a star. But that's about it. To offer a single room with a made-up couch as a triple room and to charge it as such is pretty bold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Klein aber fein, super Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, nur das WLAN funktioniert nicht immer.
Frühstück ist gut aber habe keine Möglichkeit zum Mittagessen oder Abendessen gesehen. Aufzug war ausser Betrieb
Small but nice, great location, very friendly staff, only the wifi doesn't always work.
Breakfast is good but didn't see any option for lunch or dinner. Elevator was out of order

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gute Lage und gutes Frühstück, allerdings waren wir als Paar mit Kleinkind in einem Einzelzimmer untergebracht, unser Bett war also eine Klappcouch. Wir haben zwar Last Minute gebucht aber man hätte uns sagen müssen dass wir nur eine Notlösung im vollen Hotel angeboten bekommen, dann hätten wir das nicht gebucht. Außerdem wurde der volle Preis eines normalen DZ verrechnet. Hostel Flair zum Preis vom 3-Stern Hotel.
Good location and good breakfast, but we were accommodated as a couple with a small child in a single room, so our bed was a folding couch. We booked last minute but we should have been told that we were only offered an emergency solution in a full hotel, then we would not have booked that. In addition, the full price of a normal double room was charged. Hostel flair for the price of a 3-star hotel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Na 18 jaar weer terug naar Tauplitz. Inmiddels is het hotel overgenomen door Nanja en dat is niet te merken qua verschil in kwaliteit. Nog steeds gemoedelijk, open, heerlijk en perfect. De locatie is ook niets meer dan geweldig. Dicht bij de liften, prachtig uitzicht en wat ga ik het eten missen.
After 18 years back to Tauplitz. The hotel has now been taken over by Nanja and that is not noticeable in terms of quality. Still jovial, open, delicious and perfect. The location is also nothing more than great. Close to the lifts, beautiful view and how am I going to miss the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel-Pension Sonnenuhr is everything that a person could ask for in ski accommodation. It was located right beside the ski hill and a great apres-ski spot. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a great view of the mountains. The room cost also included breakfast and dinner. Breakfast consisted of an assortment of freshly baked breads, cold meats and cheeses, muesli and yogurt, and fruits. Dinner was a multi-course affair starting with soup, then a very well-supplied salad bar, followed by the main course and dessert. The wine pairings with dinner were spot on and the after dinner schnapps was a nice complement to the meal. The family run business felt personal, familiar, and comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were here at the end of July, the place was not crowded which was very good! In the summertime breakfast is only available, no dinner only in winter time. But you can find a lot of good restaurants nearby.
The breakfast should be more varied(during our 5 day vacation in all morning it was the same), but in general we are satisfied with it.
Nanja and all of the employees were very-very kind with us, and we were happy that we can bring with us our small puppy. All of our family member were warmly welcomed.
The place is a standard typical austrian pension. Middle class, clean, comfortable.
But the panorama was priceless!!!
