Wir haben uns von ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr leckeres Frühstück mit immer frischen Brötchen reichlichen Auswahl frischer Wurst, Käse, Eier, Aufstriche, Marmeladen, Honig, Nutella, Müsli, Jogurt usw….Ich kann es nur jedem weiter empfehlen und wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen. A very nice and recommendable pension! A beautiful house in beautiful surroundings with views of the mountains. We felt very well from the first moment. Very delicious breakfast with always fresh rolls ample selection of fresh sausage, cheese, eggs, spreads, jams, honey, Nutella, muesli, yogurt, etc .. I can only recommend it to anyone and we will definitely come back.

Hans und seine Frau sind irrsinnig freundliche und hilfsbereite Menschen, die ihren Job sichtlich mit Elan und Hingabe machen. Alles hat perfekt gepasst, das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist mehr als großartig und an Sauberkeit oder Freundlichkeit kann man kaum überbieten. Vor allem die selbstgemachte Zwetschkenmarmelade am Frühstücksbüffet wird mir schmerzlich fehlen! Absolut empfehlenswert für einen entspannten Wander- und Radlurlaub! After my most beautiful vacation so far, which is largely thanks to this nice pension and its staff, I have to leave you big praise! Hans and his wife are incredibly friendly and helpful people who obviously do their job with verve and dedication. Everything was perfect, the price-performance ratio is more than great and you can hardly beat it when it comes to cleanliness or friendliness. Especially the homemade plum jam at the breakfast buffet will be sorely missed! Highly recommended for a relaxed hiking and cycling holiday!

Saubere, rustikale Zimmer, ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffett und die familiäre Atmosphäre sowie ausreichend Parkplätze machen dieses Haus für uns perfekt. We will be warmly welcomed on every visit (no matter how brief)! Clean, rustic rooms, a rich breakfast buffet and the family atmosphere as well as ample parking make this house perfect for us.

Schöner Garten, toller Ausblick und wundervolles Rauschen des Gebirgsbaches, der direkt am Haus vorbei fließt. Ein super Frühstücksbüffet, riesiges Auswahl und für jeden etwas dabei. Immer sehr frisches Brot/Brötchen. Und immer viel vitaminreiche Beilagen. Der Hausherr hat auch immer ganz tolle Tipps parat. 2 weeks of total recovery in the Birkenhof A very recommendable pension. Great hospitality, you feel right at home from the first moment. Beautiful garden, great views and wonderful rushing of the mountain stream, which flows directly past the house. A great breakfast buffet, huge selection and something for everyone. Always very fresh bread / rolls. And always plenty of vitamin-rich side dishes. The host always has great tips ready.

Das Zimmer war sauber und auch das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Insgesamt kann ich diese Pension guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. My wife and one-year-old daughter stayed here four nights and were treated to the whole stay super friendly and courteous. The room was clean and the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. Overall, I can recommend this pension in good conscience.

Viele Möglichkeiten für Wanderungen und im Hotel wurden wir bestens beraten. Natur pur im Almtal und Umgebung mit dem schönen Traunsee. Das Frühstück, von dem man nur träumen kann, wird in diesem Hotel Wirklichkeit. Es fehlt an Nichts. Man fühlt sich in diesem Hotel gut aufgehoben und die Wirtsleute sind perfekt. Unser Aufenthalt ist zwar schon eine Weile her, aber vielleicht kann sich Hans noch an die zwei Tiroler erinnern? Ganz liebe Grüsse aus Tirol We came across the Hotel Birkenhof by chance and were not disappointed. The environment is very nice and relaxing. We were very well advised on many options for hiking and in the hotel. Pure nature in the Almtal and surroundings with the beautiful Traunsee. The breakfast you can only dream of is a reality at this hotel. Nothing is missing. You feel in good hands in this hotel and the hosts are perfect. Our stay was a while ago, but maybe Hans can still remember the two Tyroleans? Greetings from Tyrol

Unsere Kinder fragen uns das ganze Jahr hindurch, wann wir denn endlich wieder zum Herrn Schiefermair fahren! Eine bessere Bewertung gibts wohl nicht ... Cozy, great location, child-friendly, great breakfast and - most importantly - refreshingly family-run by the owners. Our children ask us all year round when we will finally go back to Mr. Schiefermair's! There is probably no better rating ...
