Das Frühstück war richtig gut, unser Sohn war völlig begeistert von dem tollen Herr der im Service war, jeden Morgen eine Überraschung für unser Kind. Wir werden definitiv wieder in das Hotel gehen und freuen uns jetzt schon drauf. Wir empfehlen das Komfortzimmer! We stayed at the Hotel Kanisfluh at the end of August and loved it from the start. The breakfast was really good, our son was absolutely delighted by the great man who was in the service, every morning a surprise for our child. We will definitely go back to the hotel and are already looking forward to it. We recommend the comfort room!
P	Pascal Strasser on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben ein mal zu Mittag gegessen, Essen sehr lecker und reichhaltig, jedoch in der (Ende) der Pandemiezeit, hustet die Bedienung in seine Hände, statt Elbogen, und kommt soffort an unser Tisch ohne Hände reinigen. Schlimmer noch, beim Nachtisch bohrt er sich in der Nase. Also, Essen TOP, Bedienung FLOP. We had lunch once, the food was very tasty and rich, but in the (end) of the pandemic period, the waiter coughed into his hands instead of elbows, and immediately came to our table without cleaning his hands. Worse still, he picks his nose at dessert. So, food TOP, service FLOP.
J	J. N. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren im Hotel Kanisfluh zu Mittag A la carte Essen. Sehr ansprechende Speisekarten mit feinen Gerichten und großer Auswahl (geschmorte Kalbsbäckle, Tafelspitz, etc.). Der bestellte Grillteller als Tagesempfehlung war mehr als ein "üblicher" Wirtshaus-Grillteller - er war mit Liebe, sehr ansprechend angerichtet (geröstete Zwiebeln, Kräuterbutter, 2 hausgemachte Grillsaucen) Die Portion war sehr größzügig (1 Stk. Huhn, Schwein, Rind sowie 1 Grillwürstchen...!!!), Fleisch perfekt gewürzt und gegart - und auch beim letzten Bissen hatte man noch Pommes! Auch der Tafelspitz, welcher an unserem Tisch bestellt worden ist, wurde sehr gelobt .....mit hausgemachtem Rösti! Die Qualität und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist jedenfalls ausgezeichnet! Küche kann ich nur weiterempfehlen! We had an a la carte meal at the Hotel Kanisfluh for lunch. Very appealing menus with fine dishes and a large selection (braised veal cheeks, boiled beef, etc.). The grill plate ordered as a daily recommendation was more than a "usual" tavern grill plate - it was prepared with love, very attractively (roasted onions, herb butter, 2 homemade barbecue sauces) The portion was very generous (1 chicken, pork, beef and 1 Grilled sausages...!!!), meat perfectly seasoned and cooked - and even with the last bite you still had fries! The boiled fillet, which was ordered at our table, was also highly praised.....with homemade rösti! In any case, the quality and value for money is excellent! I can only recommend the kitchen!
J	J N on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Redelijk! Eten was oke en prijs te hoog voor wat je krijgt. Personeel is minder vriendelijk dan bij andere restaurants in het leuke dorp! Reasonable! Food was okay and price too high for what you get. Staff is less friendly than at other restaurants in the nice village!

Eten was top! Kaserahmsuppe was uitstekend. Ook de grillteller was helemaal prima. Toetje niet meer geprobeerd. Geen plek meer voor? We have been coming to Mellau for 25 years and went to eat a lot at the Adler. Recently, the price-quality ratio has fallen sharply here. So give it a try here. Food was great! Kaserahmsuppe was excellent. The grill counter was also completely fine. Dessert not tried again. No more room for

Dinner (fish and wiener schnitzel) were really good. The Hotel also looks very nice. The whole place was renovated in 2017
