★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unglaublich was das Team mit Chefin Heike leistet. Wir durften einen tollen Urlaub genießen und sind durch und durch begeistert. Die Küche ist sehr fein, das Personal ist herzlich und nett. Danke, dass wir hier sein durften.
 It's unbelievable what the team with boss Heike is doing. We were able to enjoy a great vacation and are thoroughly enthusiastic. The kitchen is very fine, the staff is warm and nice. Thank you for letting us be here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liebes Walisgaden Team, liebe Heike! Wir hatten eine traumhaft schöne Woche bei Euch. Ihr habt alles dafür getan, dass wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Euer neuer Wintergarten ist richtig Klasse und der Ausblick beim Frühstück einfach toll. Wir sind gespannt auf 2023:-)
Dear Walisgaden team, dear Heike! We had a wonderful week with you. You did everything to make us feel very comfortable. Your new conservatory is really great and the view at breakfast is just great. We are looking forward to 2023 :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr schöne Lage, direkt an der Piste! Super schöner Speisesaal mit kaum zu übertreffender Aussicht. Zimmer waren sauber und alle waren freundlich. Die Kellner hatten jedoch leider absolut kein Auge für Sauberkeit. Wir mussten fast jeden Tag nach neuem, sauberem Besteck fragen, saubere Gläser gab es auch kaum und die Tische wurden weder gewischt noch desinfiziert.
Das Brot war leider auch immer trocken.
Very nice location, right on the slopes! Super nice dining room with a view that can hardly be surpassed. Rooms were clean and everyone was friendly. Unfortunately, the waiters had absolutely no eye for cleanliness. Almost every day we had to ask for new, clean cutlery, there were hardly any clean glasses and the tables were neither wiped nor disinfected.
Unfortunately, the bread was always dry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Below average food. The grilled trout was raw. The hostess dishing it actually took it back to the kitchen once but it returned still raw and we were told "it gets dry if you do it more" as if we haven't eaten (and cooked) trout before. The salad was over dressed. Apparently the traditional fondu is good we didn't have that (you need to give them at least 2 hrs notice if you want fondu). The servers were both very polite and as helpful as they could be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time here. The staff is the friendliest and very eager to help. We were the only non Austrian and felt very welcome. Keep in mind the menu for the restaurant is in German only but they will help translating it best they can. The room was tip top and parking in the garage was very convenient. Will definitely come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, welcoming staff and owner, tasty food with half-board option, cosy rooms with views to the valley, ski-in/ski-out from 1700 m, all-in-all a perfect stay in the lovely and quiet Damüls area. We’ll be back ??♂️???⛷
