Ensuite rooms with balconies are of a good size, but the food isn't made for fussy eaters, as their is no choice in the three course meal.

We were with the group and we didn't get what we exactly ordered. We needed 64 beds and we got space for 64 guys, but lots of twin beds. Some guys were complaining about the dinner, but I haven't had opportunity to eat it by myself, so no personal opinion on that matter. On the other hand - breakfast was pretty awesome: plenty of stuff to chose from and everything was very tasty.

Vomperhof is a lovely 3-star (***) Austrian hotel, very very reasonably priced; immaculately clean rooms, some a little more modern than others. I stayed in two rooms: 215 (modernized, smaller, twin bed, a bit better shaded from the sun) and 337 (two double beds, older), which is actually on floor (-1)! Many rooms share outdoor terraces (one terrace for two rooms). There's a cozy bar, indoor/outdoor restaurant, traditional Austrian breakfast in the larger dining room. Wednesday night is ribs night...recommended! In summer, dine on the outdoor patio. Upside: the manager/owner lives on the property. Some days, the bar/restaurant is closed, check with management. Limited English spoken. Elevator serves all three floors, but on floor (-1) it does not serve some areas/rooms. Not ideal for wheelchair bound persons, as some stairwells are present between wings of the building. Tiny playground for toddlers and kids under 6. Very cordial and friendly management, and while the rooms are very very clean, they are a bit spartan, but the price is more than very fair. With some more luxuries, it could easily be 4-star, and the room rates are very very reasonable. You get two towels per person; stall showers (ask if bathtub is available); some rooms have separate toilet room adjacent to shower/sink room. Soap dispenser by sink and also in shower stall. Great water pressure and ample hot water. Fluffy white linens and plump comforter/duvet. Phone in room; small wall TV with 45 channels including BBC News and CNN news; but otherwise Austrian/German, French and Italian stations. Newer rooms have excellent bedside and desk lighting. Ample electric sockets. EXCELLENT internet...WiFi is four bars, however, the local provider had a 10-hour internet service interruption beyond the control of management. I found that 98% of the time, Wifi/internet was excellent in ALL locations in the building. Breakfast: bread (okay, not always oven-fresh) sliced meats, cheeses, fruit bowl (canned + some fresh fruit), choice of juices from a dispensing machine, hard/soft-boiled eggs, jams, butter and coffee machines make freshly ground/brewed individual cup of coffee, fresh coffee cream, tea, hot water plus a few more other items. Only downside: You do hear some noise from the A-12 Autobahn, but if you close your window, you'll hear nothing. No air conditioning, but even on warmer summer days, the nights were very cool. The top floor (+3) is NOT served by an elevator. Suggestion: ask for one of the newer-furnished rooms: better mattresses, and newer appliances, etc. Ribs served on Wednesday nights: go for it! Also, lots of beer in the bar, darts and a few folks gathered for some "gemutlichkeit". There are three parking lots...one directly behind the hotel with 7 spots; if you get rooms #335, 336, 337 your patio is on that parking lot level...convenient to get your luggage in and out! (Plus outdoor table with chairs and a fenced-in area great for pets and toddlers). An additional parking lot is 30 meters to the right of the hotel as you face it from the street; the third lot is down a steep driveway. Ask the management for other local dining...and there's more in nearby Schwaz. There's a nearby village, "Fiecht"; check out the Klostergasthaus Fiecht. Great food, outdoor terrace and very reasonable prices.
