S	Sweet Strawberry on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren auf der Durchreise, 1 Nacht in der Familiensuite übernachtet. Obwohl im 80er Jahre Stil eingerichtet, war alles sehr gut erhalten und sauber. Riesige Suite, bequeme Betten und sehr freundliche und engagierte Betreiber. We were passing through, stayed 1 night in the family suite. Although furnished in the 80s style, everything was in very good condition and clean. Huge suite, comfortable beds and very friendly and dedicated operators.

R	René van Houdt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een gemoedelijk hotel in een schitterende omgeving! Juli 2021 verbleven wij 11 nachten in Hotel Berghof met onze twee kinderen (7,9). Het hotel is gemoedelijk, de kamers zijn schoon en het uitzicht vanaf het terras is schitterend. Iedere ochtend hebben we genoten van een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet, een goede basis voor alle activiteiten die er in de omgeving te doen zijn. Vanuit het hotel kun je mooie wandel en/of fiets tochten maken. TIP: Bekijk de Kärnten Card, hiermee krijg je veelal gratis toegang tot vele gondels, klimparken, zwembaden en overige activiteiten door heel Karinthië. Wanneer je na deze activiteiten weer terug keert naar het hotel kun je in het hotel genieten van een lekkere maaltijd, iets van de snackkaart en natuurlijk een lekker drankje. Maar ook in de omgeving zijn er diverse gezellige restaurants waar je terecht kunt. Het Nederlandse echtpaar René en Nellie die sinds begin 2020 eigenaar zijn van dit hotel hebben het hotel al behoorlijk gemoderniseerd maar met behoud van de Oostenrijkse 'gemütlichkeit'. Zij zijn zeer gastvrij. Wij hebben het uitstekend naar ons zin gehad in dit hotel en de omgeving en komen zeker nog eens terug! A pleasant hotel in a beautiful setting! July 2021 we stayed 11 nights at Hotel Berghof with our two children (7.9). The hotel is cozy, the rooms are clean and the view from the terrace is magnificent. Every morning we enjoyed an extensive breakfast buffet, a good basis for all activities that can be done in the area. From the hotel you can make beautiful walking and/or cycling trips. TIP: View the Kärnten Card, which usually gives you free access to many gondolas, climbing parks, swimming pools and other activities throughout Carinthia. When you return to the hotel after these activities, you can enjoy a nice meal in the hotel, something from the snack menu and of course a nice drink. But there are also several cozy restaurants in the area where you can go. The Dutch couple René and Nellie, who have owned this hotel since the beginning of 2020, have already considerably modernized the hotel, while retaining the Austrian 'gemütlichkeit'. They are very hospitable. We had a great time in this hotel and the surrounding area and will definitely come back!

Sehr gute Lage, ruhig, ein schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und die beste Dusche bisher auf unserer Radtour. Alles gute Qualität und das riecht auch gut! Und so ein bequemes Doppelbett! In unserem Zimmer war alles sehr neu! We stopped here on the Drau Cycle Path. We are completely satisfied. Very good location, quiet, a nice room with a balcony and the best shower so far on our bike tour. All good quality and that smells good too! And such a comfortable double bed! Everything in our room was very new!
