★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good place to stay in the middle of this small town. Even the own restaurant offers excellent food and a nice little bar. Next door is the shopping mile and several cafe and restaurants all over the place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent kitchen, very kind and warm staff. Location is perfect as it is only 20 min by car to downtown Vienna. Hinterbrühl itself is quiet, clean and safe. You can have a walk or go hiking at the nearby woods (Wienerwald) or rent a bike at the Seegrotte or Höldrichsmühle station and cycle to Mödling for a wonderful Italian ice cream in the pedestrian zone.
Very close:
Seegrotte, the largest under ground level lake in Central Europe, there you can take a boat ride and still watch some requisites from the movie "The three Musketeers" that has been shot there in the nineteen's.
Also worth to see Burg Liechtenstein, built in the 11th century.
So if you draw the line this hotel is either for tourism or business perfectly located. Quiet, friendly and high level quality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Way overpriced. This place does not deserve four stars (eg compared with the four stars of the Arcotel Castellani in Salzburg). Don't arrive on a Sunday because their kitchen is closed that day. The breakfast is ok.
I arrived on a really hot day in a room without air conditioning. Arriving from India I rejected the offer of an upgrade to a room with A/C (for considerably more Euros). It was no fun, especially since the fridge did not work either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In a quiet village 20min away for the city. Very, very pleasant staff, probably the best feature of the hotel. Could use a water boiler in a room, the staff will help you with it :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel close to Wienna. We were just in transit, coming home from our skiing holiday in Austria, and even if we arrived after the restaurant closed, they were nice and offered us some soup, sandwiches and of course, some beer :)
Room was big and clean, and the breakfast also great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly people, clean rooms, good breakfast. They accept also animals as guests ??We were there for one night with our child. Everything we needed was solved in a split second. I can only say 10+ We shall for sure come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was exactly what we wanted. It was outside of Vienna just enough to be tranquil and quiet. The room was very spacious and very clean, and the front entrance had a very sweet dog (Matilda) to greet us which made it even better! The restaurant was good and the people there were very friendly too. We found this place last minute as we could not stay another night in the other hotel we had originally booked and we were so glad we did. It well exceeded our expectations. I recommend this hotel 100%!
