★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel! I was there in the summer. The fantastically beautiful surroundings of course help make this one of the best places I've stayed, but a lot of credit also goes to the superb staff who makes you feel right at home. The food is nothing exceptional but very fresh and tastes very well after a day's walk in the beautiful mountains.
Note: Walking trails start directly from the hotel, or you can take a bus from Filzmoos to other good starting locations, so you don't really need a car if you stay here.
I strongly recommend this hotel. I will remember the warm summer nights on the outside patio for a long time, having a nice drink while admiring one of the most beautiful views one can imagine. Superb!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was great at this hotel, our room was clean, comfortable, hotel’s spa area was very well equipped (i only was to sauna, not swimming pool). A great advantage of the sauna is that no kids under 14 are allowed inside.
The food was absolutely amazing and delicious, staff was very helpful and friendly. There is nothing bad I could say about this hotel :) recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ located at the top of a hill in filzmoos, hotel alpen krone was overall a surprisingly great place to stay. the rooms were comfortable, food was excellent (fixed menus), and the staff friendly and accommodating. i missed having water, and shampoo/shower equipment in the room. If you like to drink tea after dinner, bring your own kettle and mugs (and Tea) because this is not provided in the rooms.
treks are easily accessible from the hotel. there are food places and bars located close to the hotel. you can walk it (it’s a bit of a steep climb back up though!)
thank you to the staff for making our first stay at this hotel a good experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and cosy hotel. Skibus in front off the hotel. Spacious rooms. We had a room with a fantastic view from the balcony. Very friendly staff.
A lot of choice at breakfast and a tasty 4-course dinner.
